The book is absolutely a gem..worth its price..If you are reading this review just go for this book, look no further..truly lives up to its name its actually A to Z of construction and many other important points like contracts etc.. I gave 4 stars not 5 because I feel finishing of the book requires a step more further but that doesn't mean the quality is bad..quality is very good..it can be fantastic.

Awesom book of general people to understand construction process
Being an software enginner I had little knowledge of construction process and I wanted to understand process in details so that I could make better home and escape cheating from contractors. This book helped me a lot. All steps outlined, graphics very useful. Looks heavy book but its only 600 pages and lot of images so its quick finished. Many ideas came of improving my home design. I would recommend this to anyone first time building home. Note: There are not much of technical in depth details or process details just it outlines the things So incase you want to understand technicals of civil engineering buy another book.

Damaged book recieved ( some parts of book is damaged)
Content of this book is good however In time of packaging and delevery some pages may get tore and hardcover outside get damaged which I got in my case (that's why 3 stars).
