I use this to run my boat diesel when on the hard. 1st, a female hose end is needed to connect, unless you get double-female adapter. BUT, I had difficulty getting a tight connection with the double female and normal male hose end, it leaks enough to be a problem. I don't use this with the flush system they have, I just flush my engine then suck a few gallons of antifreeze from a bucket. If the double female/ hose isn't perfect, there's a suction break. (And understanding wet exhaust is needed in running an engine with pressure water) My recommendation is make a short hose with two high-quality female ends to connect to a standard hose, I use a shut-off valve at the joint. Be careful of the male end plastic fitting on this adapter, be better if it was brass.
