Glass gets stained from the fluid a little, but is still fun to play with, and the customer service is great

While it was very fun to play it, the fluid began to stick to the glass immediately. Now most of it is covered with it and the amount of fierro fluid to play with is less. EDIT: the company immediately contacted me to notify me I received a faulty unit. They offered a refund and am ordering a new unit since I was amused and had fun messing with the ferro fluid. Great customer service from evil kitty.

Got for a gift and when we opened the black liquid magnetic dried up very disappointed.

Bought as a fidget toy and it ended up being my daughter's fidget toy once she saw it... because she loves it. I love it too. Make sure to stand up when storing otherwise the glass will sort of get stained. I keep the magnets on my desk drawers (they are metal) and the tube on my bookshelf. These magnets are very strong!! Be careful and remove the stronger ones if giving to little ones who might get their fingers smooshed.

Works great. Make sure to keep it away from intense heat and stand it upright with magnets out of sight. It is so much fun and times flies with the ferrofluid.

birthday gift for my eight-year-old daughter. she likes it a lot. it's not as flexible as a large flat square ferrofluid demo, but it's pretty fun regardless. i do not suggest using any magnets that are stronger than the included magnets as you may accidentally break the glass (though the glass does seem pretty thick, it's still glass)

This is junk. My son really wanted this for his birthday after playing with a big version at a Science Museum. It immediately stuck to the sides of the glass and looks "dirty". I missed the return window because I ordered it well before his actual birthday. Do not waste your money. He was so disappointed.

This is a really cool gift and I really enjoyed playing with it, but the magnets chipped very quickly after opening the package. Every time the magnets click together (as they were assembled in the package) too quickly, they chip and leave fragments. For the price, I expected sturdier magnets. EDIT: Very shortly after writing this review, the company emailed me and apologized for the magents' deterioration and offered a refund. So customer service is GREAT, you just have to be careful with the magnets when putting them together. Overall, I definitely recommend this product!
