Easy peasy replacement
It could not have easier to replace my regulator on my RV! I had a propane leak a few weeks ago on my RV. I did the leak test with soapy water and found the fitting where the hose attaches to the propane bottle had a leak on one of my propane tanks. I decided to just replace the hoses on both of my tanks/regulator. When I bought the 2 hoses, I decided to buy a gas leak detector to check all my other propane items (grill, griddle, etc.). Not only did I have a leak again in BOTH hoses, I had a leak on my regulator as well. I decided to buy this regulator with both hoses already attached and it works like a charm! Perfect fit! Very easy installation! The hoses seem to be good quality as well as the regulator. I think Flame King should include in this kit a small spool of yellow propane PTFE tape (everyone has the white teflon tape, but DO NOT use it for propane!!!)) to install the regulator on the main propane gas line....that was my only downside for the DIY's. Other than no PTFE tape, I'm very satisfied.

I would buy again.

Essential for our generator setup
Here in Utah they turn the power off at random times whenever they feel like it so having a backup generator is mandatory. I have two of these changeover valves and run one on each of two generators. We never run out of propane that way. These are basically flawless. They always work and I've never had a problem with either of them.

Pigtails BOTH cracked/fell apart in less than 7 months
Less than 7 months and BOTH pigtails have disintegrated, cracked & connections are crumbling. Very poor quality pigtails. Time will tell regarding the regulator itself but so far, so good on that.

Respect Propane, don't buy Jayco.
Jayco put a recall on the one that came with our RV, and wanted me to tow my 8000lb rv back to dealer to be repared. I changed it myself. It was cheaper than trip to dealer.

I would recommend.
Came as advertised. Quality looks good. Just installed - No leaks. Transfer capabilities and indication work well.

Lasted less than one year
Used this last year around July, worked fine until my first trip out after winter this week. Not sure what has happened, but I think itโs leaking internally. I kept getting whiffโs of propane. I used an entire bottle of soapy water and just couldnโt find it leaking anywhere. So I ignored it, come morning the entire bottle was empty. I ran the heater, so I thought okay maybe it uses that much. That was a first also. So I switched it to the other tank. Warmed up outside and only used it to cook with twice. Woke up the following morning, another empty bottle. I used another bottle of soapy water and looked and looked, couldnโt even see any bubbles anywhere. But I could physically hear the propane (what sounded like leaking) if I put my ear close to the regulator. All I know is Iโm far from any place that could sell me a replacement regulator. This one is obviously defective and I just went through two brand new full bottles of propane. I went with flame king because I thought it was superior to the Chinese made one. But I came out highly disappointed and unsatisfied.

Auto switch works well
Does exactly what it claims to do. Auto switch between tanks and indicator tells which tank is being used and status of the propane.

No issues but....
Item was priced better than most, arrived when expected, item is as described and works great. Automatically switches from tank to tank when one becomes empty. I have this installed at an odd.grid cabin to power the propane fridge and stove. A few weeks ago, I was not there for a week and when I arrived, my fridge was showing an error indicating it was not receiving propane. Everything in the fridge had thawed and spoiled. I went outside to find both tanks empty. I figured I was low but estimated I had another week of propane left. I connected a new tank and heard a hiss and could smell.propane and noticed something had chewed thru the supply line and all.my propane had leaked out. I needed to order new braided stainless steel propane lines to replace the rubber lines included with the regulator. I find this odd as the single tank regulator that I previously had was there for 14 years without an issue and 2 months after I change to this, something chews thru the rubber. I'm assuming it's similar to the issue with the coating on electrical.wires in new cars that critters find yummy. The supply line from the regulator.to the fridge and stove was also rubber so I ordered a copper braided "sock" to cover the line just in case.

As Intended!
Works as intended! Changeover works flawlessly. Indicator is clear and I've had no issue with flow. Mounting points worked from my old regulator on my 1980's Okanagan Camper. Recommend if you want to add a second tank to your old camper and if you have the room for the tanks; My space is a little tight but this regulator fits nicely in between them.

Do not buy
Do not buy this product as the pigtail connecters are defective after about a month of having this installed and only changing the tanks once before I went to change them again I noticed both pigtail connecters were cracked and I could smell propane leaking out these plastic green connecters split and crack. I did not over tighten and temperatures outside. Got to maybe -5 to -10 degrees Celsius.
