I bought this hifi to replace one I had in the kitchen and it fits perfectly where I wanted it to go. The sound is really good for such a small unit and it is easy on the eye. I have to have music in every room and this is ideal for me . Delivered promptly too.

Considering its a small little compact radio/cd player I find it's absolutely amazing. The Dab radio picked up loads of stations around my area. I am new to Dab and find its brilliant. Yes the sound doesn't have a great base to it but I find its okay. Nice little radio/cd player.

Lovely sound, responsive remote, but the screen is very small and not much information is shown when you use mp3 discs which is my primary way of using this for my bedroom. It does not seem to allow you to jump from one folder to another with one button, instead you have to keep pressing forward button which skips tracks, but due to limitations of the screen, does not give you any information about which folders you subsequently reach. It's probably not a dealbreaker for most people,but I, unfortunately, find it rather irritating. So it's not anywher near as good as my old Sony system whose remote gave up the ghost, but it was half the price, so I'm going to have to lump it unless I can save up the pennies to stretch to a more up-market set-up. all told it's not a bad unit so, four stars.

It literally would not turn on. Sharp were impossible to contact on the phone. When I got to them on email, they just said to deal with Amazon. Terrible customer service.

We bought this for our holiday flat & were pleasantly surprised at the sound quality & clarity in a fairly small room. Easy to set up & operate, would highly recommend as a budget level system if you don’t want to spend a fortune.

Absolutely brilliant excellent sound quality

Power output is stated as 40W max yet the speakers are only rated at 7.5 watt each = 15 watt output Sound quality is ok at low to medium level . Speaker leads ar only 50cm so not suitable for a large room if you want to spread them out. The Quick Start Guide is in 18 languages but not English although the front and back covers are. It does however come with an 8 language user manual including English . It does however come with both a UK 3 pin plug and a 2 pin one as well I don't like the display being powered on all the time consuming 0.5 W I would have given it a higher rating if it had only cost £60 and not £90

Un ensemble qui prend peu de place et hyper léger : surprenant mais très efficace ! Pour info au cas où : je précise que quand la chaîne est en veille, l'affichage [date et heure] reste lumineux. Perso rien à redire.

Stereo bellissimo esteticamente e dotato di tutte le fonti di input più importanti. Presenta il classico lettore cd, radio fm/dab, bluetooth, usb e aux in con jack da 3.5". Lettore cd di buona qualità, riconosce subito i dischi e si avvia in automatico; Il bluetooth è immediato nel riconoscere i dispositivi e associarli, e non perde il segnale; Radio fm e dab decisamente al di sopra delle aspettative nonostante l'antenna possa sembrare di scarsa qualità, essendo il classico filo che spunta dal retro dello stereo (attenzione non è rimovibile); Aux in dotato del classico jack piccolo da 3.5" sulla parte anteriore, scelta che personalmente non mi piace, ma sono gusti, nulla di che; Usb per la lettura dei file musicali su chiavetta. Le casse sono delle dimensioni standard per questa tipologia di stereo, hanno un solo woofer full range da circa 4" (no tweeter) e bass reflex anteriore (scelta che ho apprezzato). Meno apprezzata è invece la scelta di adattatori proprietari per le casse, non è presente infatti la classica morsettiera o le rca, ma sono presenti degli adattatori in plastica di dimensioni specifiche, che nel caso vogliate cambiare altoparlanti, dovrete necessariamente modificare il cablaggio originale. Detto ciò il suono, per un ambiente come una camere (sua destinazione d'uso) è buono, certo non eccelso, ma a mio giudizio soddisfacente, rapportato alla tipologia di prodotto. Più incentrato sulle medio/basse vista l'assenza del tweeter, a cui si può sopperire con il telecomando in dotazione, che permette oltre alla selezione delle varie fonti e del volume, anche una parziale regolazione di bassi e alti. Infine non posso che elogiare il display, che oltre a mostrare data e ora in stand by, in riproduzione dab/fm mostra nome della stazione, e nome del brano in riproduzione, in lettura cd, numero traccia e minutaggio. Bluetooth e aux in mostrano invece solo il nome dell'una o dell'altra fonte d'ingresso, ma va benissimo così. Attenzione soltanto se posizionate lo stereo in camera da letto, poiché anche in stand by, il display risulta molto luminoso, e potrebbe disturbare il sonno. Detto ciò è un prodotto a mio avviso caldamente consigliato a chi cerca uno stereo di buona qualità e al passo coi tempi. Astenersi fanatici dell'hi-fi.

Hi, Got it and it broke down within a couple of months and the sound quality is pathetic to say the least.

I used have a similar CD player with Sony. I had left it with my parents for them to use it further as I was moving more towards digital music. Several years later I found a box of old Audio CD's and fancied a player. Here are the issues with this product: 1. I set the date and time and the stereo is connected it to power all the time. However the date keeps changing from today to last week, to a future date and so does the time. It rarely shows the right time and date. 2. The pins for power and speaker are similar. One can accidentally plug the power plug into the speaker. 3. The CD tray ejects and stays out without going back inside - in Sony it would auto-close after 30s 4. Once you load the CD into the tray, you cant play directly. You have to press the eject button for the tray to go inside and then you have to hit play. 5. IF you power off with the CD tray in ejected position, the stereo turns off. The Sony-would pull the tray back in. 6. The remote control is not all that great. In fact, I trashed it after few tries because it had to be operated from a particular angle. However, a) it does a decent job of playing music. It is compact b) it was at a price that you can afford I am a music lover, so for me this is a trial with CD's and if it works, I will upgrade in a few years to a bigger player. It is a compromise till then.
