I have purchased other black lights for around this price that were junk! this one is great!

I only used this once so far, but it’s nice to have for peace of mind. I bought it to check for possible ringworm and pet urine spots. The light is bright and easy to use, and it does what it’s supposed to do. It’s compact and simple to turn on and off. Hopefully I won’t need it often, but I’m glad to have it just in case.

After reading some of the negative reviews I had to come write a positive one to set the record. This light is amazing. It will show ringworm in a cat with an active infection. In an early infection the fungus (not a worm) isn't present enough to glow, but eventually it will. Shows up as a bright highlighter green color. It will also cause a number of other things to glow that are benign. All the little blue specs are nothing to worry over. If you want to make sure an area is TRULY clean, use this light. As a note, many antibiotics and worm treatment will glow as well, but typically appear more yellow than green. When you have positive ringworm you'll know 100% for sure. You will also want to move the fur against the grain so that you can scan all the way down to skin level. This light has been instrumental in curing at least a dozen cats that have come through our house in the last year.

We rescued a little kitten and brought her to the vet because she had worms real bad and I also wanted this rash to be looked at. It was ringworm 😟 they prescribed a medication and told us to be back in 2 weeks to weigh for the correct next dosage of round 2 of the meds. While I was there I asked if we could look at the rash again under the light and first they didn’t want to and then acted real funny about all of it. I on the other hand wanted to see the progress we made because I had been using topical sprays and stuff and thought it looked a whole lot better. Anyway the light at the vet still showed a lot of ringworm and I was supposed to be back again 2 weeks later. So I started to look for my own light because I also have other cats and dogs that I wanted to check to make sure that they where clear and also to know when it was all cleared up so I could reintroduce the new baby to everyone else. This light came in very handy. I could check more in depth and see where I had to focus more with the spray. Now we ringworm free😍 Just do yourself a favor and do not look at your toilet 😂😂 no matter how clean you think you are it will be nasty lol

Used it once when I first bought it. Now it won’t charge and is completely dead as I’m trying to use it again. If someone from product support could contact me that would be helpful. Thank you.

I got this light because our cat got ringworm. It detects some of the fungus, so that we can spry medicine accordingly. However, we cannot just use this to solve all the issue. The vet told us that it only detects half of the fungus, hence, we turned to the path of pet shampoo treatment. Over all it is useful, but can not be relied to find all the ringworms.

My kitten had ringworm and I was recommended to buy this wood lamp to detect any spores. It did the job and lit up green on the areas detecting ringworm which helped address where the problem areas were. I recommend this product!

This light looks like some kind of a military issue combat item - it's super solid, you can use it like a weapon. Easily charged, it's bright and reveals entirely too much. Bought it to play with some minerals and gemstones I have. *Do not* shine it on anything in public transportation or your bed, you'll never be the same.

Mon chaton avait attrapé la teigne et j'avais acheté cette lampe pour pouvoir suivre l'évolution de sa maladie. Cela m'a bien servi et m'a permis de voir la diminution des champignon pour adapter son traitement.
