Out of 10 Cushions purchased this Black one is the best. I still have one on the way, it's a Gray one of these. I expect I will keep them both, as this Black one is PERFECT. Just the right amount of Soft Comfort and Support. I suspect the Gray one will be a little Firmer (will report later) as it States a Weight of .35 Pounds heavier. Black Cushion arrived at 6AM, so I tried it before I put my Pants on, and WoW I am loving it. The Velvet is so much more Comfortable on Bare Skin than that Loose Poly Mesh that makes a Crinkle Sound when you touch it and makes your Bare Skin Itchy. I tried different Cushions with Holes, cut outs, Contours, Honeycombs, and different Materials. Flat Blue Memory Foam with Velvet Cover is Best (not the one with Holes in it). If you don't wish to Shop around like me then just buy this one and you will likely be Happy. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Great Product at good Price. Foam is fast to settle and fast to recover. No need to wait 24 Hours when you open it, it's ready to jump on in seconds and quickly settles to a Comfortable texture when Sat on. You don't feel like you're sinking for 1 Minute, then it gets Hard like some Cushions I have used. UPDATE. Got the Gray one today. Much Firmer than the Black. Black is Comfortable as medium Firm should be, the Gray one I believe is listed wrong and should be listed as a Firm as it is hard and will be returned. Such a shame it's Beautiful but not at the same comfort level as it was described to be in the Ad. CONCLUSION. These can vary a bit in softness. If it seems a little firm don't worry about it, it will get softer before long. If it seems a little soft you may want to try the other Color and send it back. Very nice Cover on these and yes they do have a bit of Odor at first. It is the Chemicals trapped within and Sitting on it pushes out the Fumes. Airing it out does little good as you need to push the Fumes out by using it. If you just use it the Smell is gone in a couple of Days. BOTTOM LINE. BEST CUSHION OUT OF 10 I HAVE TRIED AND I NOW OWN TWO BLACK ONES THAT ARE GREAT.

I originally bought this cushion to go on my office chair. Many of the others I saw were too small to fit the whole seat. This one was perfectly sized. However, I ended up repurposing it as a cushion on my ottoman bench to help elevate my legs more comfortably. Being on the bigger side, I wasn't sure how supportive this cushion would be. It turns out that it is both soft and supportive and adds a few inches of height to your seat. I read other reviews that the cushion was overly hard. I can tell you from my own experience that when used on my bench ottoman as a leg rest cushion, it's firm but does conform to my legs and is very comfortable. So, the cushion is soft and supportive, even for lower weight individuals. For heavier individuals like me, it's supportive enough that you don't sink all the way thru it. The seat cushion also has a velvety soft removable and washable cover with non-slip backing, which keeps it in place during use. I'm personally very happy with my purchase and would highly recommend it to others.

This is a very good size nice price. Feels very good when you sit on it. But it smells very strong and very BAD reminds me of real strong printers ink that used to get some newspaper or the hair dye when person colors their hair. I contacted the company they apologized and said it needs to are out for at least another 24 to 48 hours that happens with products like this from time to time and they apologized again. I have done that for the 48 hours have also used February's on the cover he has greatly reduced to smell but still feel like it could benefit from some more time outside. I still like the product very much and just what I needed to do just has a very pungent smell! Then you have to deal with from the very beginning. I still wish the company well and appreciate the product wants to smell has been dealt with I even said in the beginning of my email I feel like she can get some sort of a refund in order to pay for the Febreze and everything else I've used to get rid of the pungent smell. This is just in the 24 to 48 hours and for me to let them know.

I had to take a 4 hour flight weeks after herniating my L5-S1 with constant burning sciatic nerve pain, so I was desperate to find a cushion that would provide long term relief. I chose this cushion as my backup, as it was slightly less awesome than my first choice. This cushion has a good deal of give, as a memory foam should, but still provides a good deal of support. It's just a bit too unwieldy for me for a bumpy flight or car ride. But as long as I wasn't in a moving vehicle, it provided enough pain relief to sit for at least an hour (vs 5 min). I plan to keep it and use it on my kitchen chair. Other features: The velvet quilted cover seems to attract lint more than I would like. It appears to provide cooling relief for an hour long sit at room temp. Wherever I put the cushion, it did not move. I really like the rounded edge where my legs are; it feels very comfortable where the cushion ended by my knees. I recommend this seat cushion to anyone with low back and sciatica nerve pain, just as long as you are not being jostled around while using it.

I have bought 3 of these cushions. The large size accommodates my thighs which don't touch the hard seat edge. I have one in the car so I can see over the steering wheel and see over the car hood.
