SamaN Interior One Step Wood Seal, Stain and Varnish – Oil Based Odorless Dye - Protection for Furniture and Fine Wood (Dark Walnut SAM-314, 8 oz)

I love this stain so much. I've purchased like, 4 bottles of it. I am not into the whole white kitchen aesthetic that has been so popular in recent years and when we moved to the house I am in now, I decided to just stain our cabinets to give them a makeover. This stain has held up over time. We stained the cabinets 3 years ago and they still look so shiny and have this beautiful golden oak color. I think the cabinets have a classic, timeless look now. We went on to stain other things in the house with this color. I even used it to stain a plant stand because it just looks so good! I highly recommend this product. It is worth paying a few extra dollars for. I've used the stains you find at other stores and nothing looks as good as this one.

As a professional woodworker, I use SamaN brand stain/sealer on all projects requiring a quality stain. There is a night and day difference between this product and big box brands. It is worth every dollar extra in client satisfaction. I like that they have a wide range of colors. Follow manufacturer guidelines on application and you will have a great result. (this is not a wipe on stain in my opinion). Picture shows Aged oak on birch ply and Ebony on pine workbench frame. 2 coats.

Easy to work with and color is spot on and sooo gorgeous. I did 2 coats on this small antique dresser that I dry brushed off and I’m amazed at the results. Very happy!

Great rich color

I used this to stain some 2x12 inch maple boards being used as shelf risers inside of a cabinet. Honestly, I just bought this product because it was the cheapest all-in-one stain I could find. I was pleased with the result. The color was exactly as pictured in the Amazon listing, a dark warm walnut. I put on 4 coats and waited 2 hours in between each. It is a milky color when it’s wet but dries clear. You definitely need multiple coats to get a rich color. This product worked well for my small project. The color ended up matching the stain inside my cabinet perfectly.

On very hard maple sapwood, I have had much better results applying this product with a lint-free rag (along the grain, working fast) than a with a brush, counter to the manufacturer’s instructions. I have had no blotching, which is amazing with this particular timber. I also find that I can do additional coats after only five-to-ten minutes this way, also counter to the manufacturer’s instructions. I am doing a dark color; four coats gets me there.

The product is good the seller is questionable

This product was wonderful! Did everything it was supposed to do - as advertised!! Used it on a worn wooden table as well as a large wood windowsill that had fading and scratches. Came out amazing! Went with 2 coats and was a little darker than I wanted, but I love the coverage and shine - all in one step! Couldn't be happier! Just follow the directions on the can.

I chose this SamaN interior one-step wood seal, stain and varnish for use on a herringbone on-edge plywood side table that I'm building. Being a living room piece that would be exposed to light moisture from beverages or plants, I wanted a stain that wasn't too strong in odour but would still offer protection from occasional light moisture. This stain has thus far worked really well. I'm very happy with the finish of the "antique" tone after having applied a single coat. I'm about to do a second coat after sanding. There was indeed some grain raising after the first coat but some light sanding should take care of that. I'm amazed at how low-odour this product actually is. If I didn't know better, I'd think this was water based as compared to my Varathane stains, this has very little to no odour. Great product thus far, I'll certainly try SamaN again for my next choice of interior stain.

This product takes most of the worries away from staining the wood.

The stain goes on easily and looks great. Rich colours to choose from that bring up my projects. Fantastic product. Not much odour when applying. Worth every penny.

While I’m not typically one to bother writing reviews, this product went above and beyond my expectations. The coverage is great, application is easy, and the finish is phenomenal, especially given the 1-step nature of this stain. You won’t be disappointed!

Good price and quality
