Works great
Used this for brining in fresh air for my sim racing room. Works great. Also can flip it to pull hot air out with air conditioner. The variable fan speed is great. Have the control box mounted to my racing rig. It is a little loud but itโs not ment for what Iโm using so it has a nice background noise.

Very good
Sorta loud but definitely does its job. Using it to vent a resin 3d printer and all fumes are gone now by using this. Surprisingly light weight and low power draw too

it works well, but it is not quiet by any stretch of the imagination.
the fan moves a lot of air, and the speed control is reasonably linear allowing for smooth speed adjustments thought-out its range without any spots that seem to not make much difference. it doesn't come with any means of attaching or hanging it at all, no strap, nothing!!! i grow veggies in the tent rather than weed like most here so i have no need for a carbon filter and a strap or mounting bracket would of been a nice addition. it's reasonably light weight so i installed it into one of the vent openings of a grow tent and just used the synch cords to secure it, it works well. i have it just to help with heat removal in the top of the tent when the lights are on, i keep the lower vents of the tent open all the time so there's a bit of natural thermal lift, but on hot days i had a little more temp climb than i liked. i have noticed that the room i have the tent in gets a good bit warmer with the tent venting into it so i have a 16ft 6" hose and it fit the fan perfectly, and i'll get a window vent to vent the heat outdoors. other than it being a bit noisy, it's a great addition to the grow tent.

Fan running 24/7 for 3 years! Has been a game changer
Using this blower to move air through residential duct work to farthest room from HVAC. It has lasted for 3 years running 24/7 and makes that room temperature consistent with rest of the home. It is fairly quiet, but can still hear when running it (sounds like low level of white noise). Combined this with a pressure sensor at end of the main return trunk from HVAC and works like a charm. Strong buy recommendation!

Great Grow Tent Fan
Very happy with this fan in our spring garden starter grow tent. Moves air quietly and is making a positive difference in our spring seed starting efforts.

Works great but noisy. Attach to a smart plug.
Installed in-line on a 6-inch HVAC duct to increase airflow to the second floor due to too cold in winter/too hot in summer issues. Pros: super easy to install- 45 minutes or less if youโre handy- longer if in a tight or confined space. Very inexpensive fix if you have an upstairs that is too hot/too cold due to poor HVAC volume on upper floors. Cons: itโs really very noisy. If youโre ducting it to a bedroom, use a quieter model with a plastic body- all the sound carries through the ducts. If you plan to install yourself, buy yourself BOTH left AND right handed tin-snips to cut out the duct work you plan to install it in. Note you can also cut into ductwork with a utility knife, though only recommended for initial cut. Connect the ends with flashing tape to make things easy. I bought the Vivosun black plastic model with red fan blade to duct to all the upstairs bedrooms (4) and now itโs like an icebox up there in the summer. Running our central air no more than before weโve managed lower the upstairs temperatures by 10 degrees easily- making it so much easier to sleep. I was originally going to upgrade the central air, but that was a multi thousand dollar change โ this was in much better solution. Note- install these as close to the blower as possible- ideally right off the trunk line. Also HIGHLY RECOMMENDED- buy and connect to smart plugs that you can control via app or google home/Alexa. That will allow you to easily turn on and off without having to go to the basement every time you want to turn them on/off.

It works for me in a harsh environment.
I use this to extract heat from a portable A/C unit. I needed a fan with metallic blades due to heat. The heat it is exposed to will warp plastic fan blades. I was worried about the fan motorโs exposure to heat as well. This fan (in my application) is exposed to 145 degree internal duct heat for hours at a time which is right at the end of the motorโs advertised tolerance. It has been working without issues for over two months in Florida weather. I run it for as long as 6 hours straight, as needed. I use this fan to extract exhaust heat from a portable 9000 BTU A/C unit in my garage. This unit may also have use in a hurricane aftermath scenario (as in cooling a tent erected inside the house for sleeping (powered by a gas generator located OUTSIDE), if the power is out for weeks. This fan is hard mounted to a plate which I fabricated which seals the window opening completely. It can be removed from the window in less than 30 seconds. It also locks the window to help avoid entry from outside. I insulated the original flex duct with commercial grade insulation material used for A/C ducts in attics. The portable A/C unit is connected to the insulated duct, and then to this fan assembly at the window plate on the other end. The straight 4 foot duct run has two 45ยฐ elbows... this fan creates a vacuum in the duct to draw the heat outside better than the A/C u it could before. These portable A/C units are completely useless unless you facilitate the extraction of the heated air they produce. The uninsulated plastic exhaust ductwork they come with simply transfers all the heat the create right back into the room before it gets outside. Itโs so hot in fact, it melts and distorts the window mount that comes with the A/C unit, allowing the heated air to literally blow back into the space you are trying to cool! It would heat and cool the garage simultaneously. Incredibly stupid and costly. To remedy, I insulated the exhaust duct from the A/C unit all the way up the the fan (at the window plate) in order to keep the heat in the duct, and not let it radiate back into the garage airspace. This fan sucks the hot air out. The window/fan mounting plate is made of 3/8 finish grade plywood, and painted with a two part epoxy, as to be waterproof and look nice. The fan is mounted to the plywood with a metal ring I fabricated using rivets, and it seals with a gasket. Control of the fan is manual, via the same power strip that supplies the A/C unit. The sound level is lower than the A/C unitโs noise output. The result: My garage can now reach 78ยฐ, with a 50% humidity level on a July day like today. Without the AC, the garage is 85% humidity, and 95ยฐF.

Works very well to vent a hot room
Using to move air from an overly hot room in my basement into a colder laundry room. It moves the air well with not a lot of noise. Most of the noise is from the air rushing out. The 6" flexible vent hose fit well and was simple to install. There is not switch, just a direct power cable and plug. I use a smart switch to control it based on the weather. I used the suggestions in another review to reduce any noise: I hung the fan and hose from bungee cords. I put 2 small hooks in the ceiling on either side and looped a cord between them along the length of the run. The pipe and fan sits inside these 'cradles'. It is in the basement below my bedroom (no insulation between) and I can barely hear it. The laundry room is toasty warm now.
