Are the arms of the chair strong enough to use to help stand up?

Absolutely yes. The arms are very sturdy and I use them full weight to help lift my 6'1" 411 pound body out of the chair. If you are a big and tall type of guy there is no better chair for portable use. I highly recommend this chair.

what is the Side table made of?

The side table is made of aluminium-plastic panel

Are you able to purchase a polyester seat/backing replacement for when this one gets old or do you have to buy another chair.

I'm not sure but the material being used is heavy duty! It's not flimsy material.

What do I do when it Breaks

Mine is two years old and shows no sign of breaking.
