Minus33 Merino Wool Ridge Cuff Beanie

I've never before purchased anything made of wool, other than itchy socks. This hat is incredibly smooth and soft. The quality is superb a well.Fits perfectly, without drooping or moving too much.Very warm under the conditions I've worn it, which is between 0 degrees Celsius, up to 15 Celsius, just to compare. Perfect at the lower temperature, and surprisingly tolerable at 15, although i did bit test with wind at either temperature.The grey color i purchased is, well, grey, so i don't have anything to say about color other than it was consistent throughout and is not that sickly ash grey those itchy work socks are.I would firmly recommend this article.

Merino wool is an amazing product. The beanie is 100% Merino. It is super light and very warm none the less.

Got the Charcoal Gray color. I have multiple beanies in different colors, but this one came more loose than the others. which why it is a 4/5 for me. I already cleaned it in warm-hot water. although it did shrink, it was not enough to give it a nice fit like my other ones. Aside from that, the quality is still good. The stretchability of this beanie makes it real comfortable. It does not squeeze my head. The design is nice and silky and it makes my overall fit look clean. The color turned out to be as expected and it holds up after a wash. Wearing this beanie inside or outside, i can feel that it is breathable. The wool material is what you want if you do not want to be sweating a lot. Don't get me wrong, you will sweat in certain heat conditions, of course, but the amount is significantly less compared to a cotton beanie. overall, 5/5 recommended. Ever since my first purchase, it is hard to go back to any other material of beanie.

Great little hat. Keeps me nice and warm, and it is very comfortable and breathable, as merino wool often is. The hat could do with being a little thicker, I often wear it with a balaclava or with my hood up below about -10. The hat is also penetrated easily by cold winds, but i suppose that this is the tradeoff for great breathability.
