amazing product... my cat still uses it. but she still hasnt figured out the chin scratcher

My cat loves this bed. I have purchased it several times. The first one I bought was at a Woodman's grocery store many years ago. It is a sturdy box (bed) that lasts a very long time because it has the extra liners. They don't need to be discarded often - annually is fine. It will easily last for several years or longer. Just vacuum out the accumulation of cat hair once in a while to keep it clean. Easy Peasy. Kitty sleeps in it every night in my bedroom and it keeps him comfy, happy and cozy. (Kitty doesnt sleep in my bed because the dog is a jealous brat). I'll take a photo to attach to this review soon.

In the world of cat boxes, variety reigns supreme. Have you recently received a new Amazon package? Fluffy ninjas descend! Your cat is invariably sizing it with its fluffy posterior the moment you've removed the contents. They don't care about your new item of human interest. They want that fresh-box-feel! Unfortunately, their interest is as fleeting as an ADHD kid in a candy store. The box quickly becomes "last week's news," and using a complicated cat-logic-algorithm, they're off to invade the next open thing. For me, it's rare to find something my rescue cat, Boki, LOVES and chooses above all others. But that's exactly what this scratch box is: her comfortable love. She could have the even comfier, padded seat that I provided for her, but nope. She could gravitate toward the expensive mattress, the chairs, but NAY she meows, NAY! She loves the cardboard THING with its majestically angled walls, the significant scratchy chin-rest, and the replaceable scratch-bottom. •• Surprisingly long lasting •• Frankly, I love it, too. It's cheap, yet Boki uses it religiously. Occasionally her best friend Mr. Poncho is permitted to share the space, but it's HER territory, rest assured. I recently replaced my first aged box that I bought at some random retailer for literally double the Amazon price. It lasted AT LEAST two years, possibly three. I didn't count, but it was a long time for a simple item. This is the EXACT same item, so I'm satisfied. What more can I ask for? •• The angles! •• I think part of the reason she loves it is because of the gothic architecture. She's a cat who appreciates that sleek, angular production. She can rest her chin IN the rest, on the corner, on the side, or squish her face into the corner for a secure, sleepy tuck. It's just... weirdly well designed. And it's just a box... well, not JUST a box, according to Boki. •• Extra scratch pads •• I clip Boki's nails semi-regularly. She doesn't scratch the scratch pad unless her nails are long, but then it's SCRITCH SCRITCH SCRITCH, and I know it's time for a trim. The box comes with 5 removable layers. They last a long time. I honestly don't even remember replacing one on my last, and she was constantly clawing the heck out of it. •• Conclusion •• Not every cat will love the same items. But mine loves this, and that's all that matters to me. She's never had another THING that's captivated her interest for years at a time, but somehow this one has defied the odds. I will buy replacements until I can't anymore. If you see me homeless years from now, please dump out a can of cat food in my honor. Don't pity me, for we both know it was worth it.

My senior cat loves the Omega Paw ripple beds. I buy 2 for the summer months.

Having already buying one and finding it well received by one of my cats, I decided to buy two more and I was not disappointed. Even though two of my three cats sleep with me at night, they do use theirs during the day; my fluffy boy happily uses his all day and night.
