Great book. Would definitely check out more from the author. The illustration was well-done. Get it. Kids will love it.

This is one of my favorite stories to read to my kids and buy for others. It's all about being brave and forming your own path. It rhymes too which makes it extra cute and easy to read or memorize (young kids). It's the perfect length for bedtime.

Little three year old lived this book!

This is a beautifully illustrated book. The message is that of peace and how to diffuse what could be fearful situations, and turn them around into something beautiful. I highly recommend this book and Snatchabook by the same author.

This book is perfect for bookworm parents to read to their children. In this story, Leo is a knight who doesn't like to fight. He loves to read. When his parents force him to go on a quest to tame a dragon, he uses a very unconventional method to tame the dragon and a few other beasts along the way. The rhyming stanzas in this book are a little clunky at times, but the terrific illustrations and the wonderful story make up for the awkward language. I was cheering for Leo from the first page. This book is a little wordy, so it's probably best for ages 4-6. I loved the messages - both solving problems without fighting and the joy of reading. And the sight of a tiny mouse in armor with a tiny sword and shield were just too cute. Such a fun read! [...]

This is a very cute story for boys and girls! My daughters absolutely loved reading this before bedtime.

This is one of my favorite children's books. It's very cute and has a good message. I love that it rhymes, but the rhymes aren't forced. That's one of my pet peeves. It flows very nicely. My grandkids (ages 3-7) love it too.

Leo was a gentle knight, in thought and word and deed. Love it.

Love love love this book! Purchased for my son for his first birthday. The story line is so fun to read and I love the message it sends to kids. The illustrations are great too.
