Works well, great value, but does not remove lead and other health-related impurities.
Good price, high quality, easy five minute installation and high capacity make this an attractive buy, especially if Amazon has it on sale. Bought two of these for the kitchen and bar. Flow was undiminished, water was clear, taste and odor-free, so it does what it is supposed to very well. Filters are very easy to change and readily available on Amazon. It should be noted that this filter is certified to improve aesthetics such as chlorine taste and odor, but does NOT address health-related contaminants such as lead. Great product and good value as long as buyer knows it's limitations. Would definitely buy this again.

This filter would have 5 stars if not for a simple dumb packaging/assembly flawed decision. It is a very good filter, with a very long service life, and a phenomenal water quality and taste. It works on stinking Chicago tap water and makes it taste just like bottled spring water. Almost. It is easy and simple enough to install inline with your cold water supply line going into your faucet, but if you want to use it into a separate faucet just for drinking water, it has no way to connect to the 1/4”OD stub at the bottom of most spigots, only a 3/8comp X 1/2comp adapters. I had to go and buy a 1/2 female compression X 1/4OD comp.
