Neodymium Round Base Magnet with 20mm Mounting Screws (3-Pieces)

I love the small size with the big strength. I was planning to test it out with a shovel before I wrote my review, but I have only tried it with a hammer and a few other work tools so far. It is so strong, my husband had a bit of a time taking the hammer back off. I saw a couple of reviews where people say they use these to hold their keys. These are not key magnets. These are made for heavy loads. I couldn't imagine fighting to get my keys loose every day. I wanted them mostly for my garden tools, but I like the way they hold on to my work tools, so I may just have to get some more. I could have used these a couple of months back when I needed to destroy a couple of computer hard drives before recycling them. A good strong magnet will kill a computer. Also, use that as a word of caution and keep them away from anything they could harm. A couple of good shot gun blasts were much louder, and a bit messier than the magnet trick would have been, but they did the trick. I am glad to have these now. I received this product at a reduced price for my honest and unbiased review. I am sure I will purchase more.

I can't imagine needing a stronger magnet than this for anything. They're so impressive, I want to invent additional needs. Would definitely recommend the product. NOTE: I have a washer/dryer unit. The dryer door tends to close on you while you're trying to load it. I installed the magnet where the dryer door connects to the wall. The magnet is so strong, I had to attach a buffer. But that's not a complaint.

These are super strong! The fit of the hardware is nice and makes for a clean install. They are not very strong if used vertically though. I made a wooden board 24"x24" for my 1yo son with lights, door knobs, switches, etc. on it. I used this 3-pack to stick it to the back of our front door. It's textured, but I had to glue some 1/16" rubber friction pads on the back to stop it from sliding down the door. I ended up buying another 3-pack of these and it still isn't held in place very well. When pulled normal to the surface, they are very strong.

I recently installed a security system (Arlo) in a house to allow me to check on my mom in case she fell. The house has metal door frames, I put the screws in backwards and they fit and hold the mounting. These magnets are easily strong enough to hold the mount and the camera. In order to re-position the magnets I use pliers to grip the screw. Clearly this is not what these magnets were designed to do but they made installing the cameras a snap and I didn't have to put holes in the walls.

I needed about ten magnets for my project. I ordered two different sets to try them both out. The "other" set was so strong it was difficult to devise safe methods of working with them. These are much weaker. I'll be returning these and ordering more of those other sets. They are also manufactured with a center hole, but don't include screws in the package. They come in packs of four.

Strong magnet; it works for my use. (Didn't use the screw: I made a small pouch for it and attached a carabiner to the pouch.) I can place it on my car and it holds my keys or a sackpack while I put things into the trunk area. Also use it to keep the sackpack off the floor.

These things are GREAT, extremely powerful. I bought two sets to hold a tarp on my tractor. I attached them to 3" pieces of 1" x 1" wood because otherwise they would be a pain to try to remove. I've had them for several months and so far the wind has not pulled any of them off.
