Because I have really sensitive skin, I try to only use basic products when and where I need them. This one doesn’t get used a lot because I have dry sensitive skin so if I use too many products that have an exfoliating affect, it gets angry. But once in awhile, I just need something like this. After several months of semi-regular use, I’m pretty happy with this one. No irritation. No overpowering scent. Does what it says it does.

If you check the list of ingredients in all the most effective preparations for problem skin, I think you'll find that they all contain varying amounts of salicylic acid. If you are looking to clear or prevent blackheads, whiteheads, help generally resurface your skin, etc. this is what you will need in it's more simple form. If you are at all like me, you can expect almost immediate results from using this product. Salicylic acid is one of those game-changers that you can really count on when your skin is really in need of assistance. Highly recommended! :)

Very misleading! The information states “ JUST salicylic acid “ and “ clean “, without harmful “ unnecessary ingredients” yet the ingredients aren’t listed and then when you receive the product the 2nd ingredient on the list is propylene glycol… a deadly ingredient, also known as antifreeze.

I have this and the vitamin C serum and if I put them on your fingers there's no way you'd be able to tell the difference. Normally when I use an acid on my face it's very slick like watery almost from any brand I've tried but with this brand both products feel the same, like a gel consistency. It's hydrating but I only use them at night because they're so slimy and tacky. I haven't seen any breaking out from using them but it's very odd to me that I've used two different products from them and they are the same color, same texture, same consistency, same everything and they dry down the exact same on my skin.

Watch out! I received 2% salicylic acid, not the 20% advertised. Avoid.
