do not use metal dice it will ruin the dome ! go on amazon and get the starmall set of 10 16mm round wooden dice. they look great and are very light so the dice roller really whips them around !

THIS LITTLE THING IS A MIRACLE FOR FAMILY GAME NIGHTS! I have 3 brothers and they make a spectacle of rolling dice incorrectly, you have no idea how many they've lost, and broken (long story). But this little machine means a truly random roll each time. It takes 2 AA batteries and it has a clear cover to see the dice roll, as well as a case to cover the clear cover. Its nice and works very well! Overall I recommend.

The clear plastic top of the cloche is very hard to open, but it works great! Do NOT use metal dice, as the green mat inside was very easily scratched by the metal edges. Used my mini metal d20 in it and it scratched the green part pretty bad. I'd recommend resin dice only.

Great for game night. It does continue to spin for a bit even after you let go of the button and has a bit of a motor burning smell if it's held down for longer than just a a few seconds but I love it for our weekly game nights with friends. No more dice chucked across the table and knocking pieces over.

Works really good with lighter dice like acrylic, plastic or resin. Doesn't roll heavy metal dice as easily.
