Actually works!
My 5 year old is a VERY deep sleeper and struggling to night time potty train. We tried all the tricks and the only thing that happened was he started hating the feeling of pull-ups, refused to wear them and depending on the week, will have accidents 1-5 times a week. After loosing my mind from being woken up several nights a week to change him and the bedding, we tried the sleep shorts along with the underwear. First night, we had a little leak out, I tightened the elastic draw string on the shorts and that did the trick. Absorbs it all! Bed is dry every morning, even when he has an accident. I have been throwing them in my dryer like normal and no issues. They dry fine and still work well after 2 months. The only down side is that they are not the best looking, awkward length and my kid would probably be resistant to letting people see them at a sleepover, but they work 100%

They work
My 7 year old kept forgetting to put his ninjama in the trash (this happened once every 6 weeks or so), and we just couldn’t clean out the washer anymore. Exploded diaper filling is the WORST. I decided to try these. I purchased the short style, and coupled it with the padded underpants from the same company. As long as the underpants are worn, and tucked completely under the pants as described in other reviews (I have to roll the underpants at the waist to keep them down), this system works amazingly. He doesn’t pee every night, but when he does he would always soak through the ninjamas or Goodnights. So that it is contained is amazing 🙌 He has no problem sticking them in the hamper inside out, as most of his pants go in there inside out anyway. I ordered more pairs, which is expensive- but so are years of night diapers. He says they are comfortable, and not too hot (again, I have the shorts).

Even said she loved them and cried.
Update: Worked better after washing to fluff them up a little. My son has autism and is still having trouble potty training at 8. We put these over his regular undies to add an extra layer and now we just have a small pee spot on clothes as compared to a puddle on the floor, wet socks etc. Totally worth it to just get out of diapers and keep the understanding of peeing on self =wet undies. So far they have held up over a few washes and got him to take himself to the bathroom to clean up as opposed to sitting in his dirty easy ups with nothing being accomplished. Easy ups are nice but diapers keep the kids too dry to accomplish effective cause and resolution needed for potty training. Thank you for ma

Still need protection but…
My son still needed disposable night pants underneath, but these saved us from changing the sheets every night. They aren’t very absorbent and the wide and tall waist band gets wet and then travels up the waistband.

Best things ever invented!
These pants are amazing! My 2 year old son is a big water drinker so he leaks through his nighttime pull ups constantly. Ever since I have bought these pants, I no longer am washing sheets every day! The fit is very true to size and the absorbency is amazing! Definitely worth every penny!

Less devastating leaks, but still wet.
Pants are cute and soft to the touch, but they rustle a bit, like wind pants. I bought the larger size and they fit my 3 year old, who typically wears 4-5T, but the rise is low on my 6 year old, who usually wears sizes 6-7. My 3 year old peed in my bed tonight, and while the pants definitely saved me from total devastation, blankets all still got wet.

Exactly what I was looking for
These are great. I bought the shorts and the pants for my 5yr old, deep sleeper. I like both, but probably like the shorts better as they can get hot and sweaty being waterproof. And they definitely are waterproof. They do a great job of keeping the bed dry so I don’t have to wash sheets and blankets every single night. We had 2 nights where the bed was wet. 1: the waistline went below the underwear waistline. So you need to make sure the underwear is completely covered by the pants or it can seep up the underwear. 2: there is a nice addition of adjustable waistband. It on one occasion happened to let the pee seep through somehow. He must have peed up higher. Not sure how that happened, really. But still only the one time. Been using for a couple months. If ever a redesign was made, the adjustable waist strap should be on the inside. But that is a minor detail and most likely a fluke.

Not super useful for potty training
This was recommended to us by a daycare provider because we were trying to potty train without using Pull-ups. My conclusion: just go with the pull ups. These do hold and absorb liquids well but they do not encourage your LO to tell you when they are wet. They are also expensive and difficult to wash AND dry completely. After about 2weeks of use, I can't seem to get the urine smell out at all no matter what I tried.

Works well, but don't put them in the dryer
My child has been trying to make it through the night for years now. He is a deep sleeper and has trouble waking up in the night to pee. He like the feel of the shorts, and they are a surprisingly good looking short. He has overflowed them a few times, and he does his own laundry and put them in the dryer. The elastic band around the waist broke, so we bought 2 pairs more. They take a full day or 2 to dry out completely. I would suggest buying 2 pairs (4 in total) to be sure they will dry in time. My child has has a week of no accidents, but rhwn followed up with a few nights in a row of wetting. All in all, these are a good training tool and look better then pull-ups. It will give your child more confidence to make it through the night

Thick pants that is not too water proof
I have done some testing with the pants prior to giving it to my kid to put on since a lot of reviews is stating these pants are not waterproof. So I will say that after pouring maybe 150 ml of water directly onto the fabric, it does not absorb the liquid quickly, so the liquid does overflow, and I can understand how if a child wet their pants and stands up right away, or these way too big around their thighs, then the pee will definitely get all over the place. However, the water that was absorbed did not leak through the fabric, so I guess it really depends on how fast your child notice the wetness or how they sleep. I let my kid sleep with it last night, and luckily because she had a small accident, these helped saved the bed from getting wet. One thing I do notice is that these pants are very thick, so I had to roll them up for my kid because she was complaining, and wasn't able to sleep even with the AC blasting. I'm considering cutting them into shorts...I do like that there's a band adjustment so if they are too big around the waist for your kid, you can adjust it with the elastic band
