Great sunscreen/make-up
PTR sunscreen has a nice fair but not pale tone with a very slight yellow undertone. It is also slightly radiant but not dewy. It doesn’t highlight my wrinkles as much as some other zinc oxide tinted sunscreens do, but it doesn’t hide them either like more matte, silicone based sunscreens do (Elta MD, Sunbum and MD Solar Science). I really like the smooth look, light glow and the tone of this make-up. I apply it with a wet sponge and it doesn’t look heavy, chalky or waxy at all. However I don’t apply the quarter teaspoon recommended, but I don’t usually stay in the sun for long. I wear it daily to work and it usually wears well unless I touch my face, which is what happened on the day one of the photos was taken. Contras: I have sensitive skin and I don’t know what genius came up with the idea to add vitamin C to sunscreens such as this one. On most days I’m okay but once in a while I look in the mirror after several hours of wear and I see a red spot on my face (allergic reaction) that shows through the make-up. I have to bring a concealer to work now. It also makes my eyes watery after I apply it under my eyes but that goes away after 10 minutes or so. Despite these things, I continue wearing it almost every day, because I love it. It looks better in person than on the photos and I often don’t want to take it off when I get home because, again, I love how it makes my skin look.

A staple in my routine!
bought the Peter Thomas Roth Max Mineral Tinted Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 45 for a hiking trip where we were going up to around 14,000 ft, and I specifically needed something strong enough to keep my face from burning at that elevation. Happy to say — it absolutely worked. The sunscreen felt lightweight, blended in nicely for a mineral sunscreen, and the tint helped avoid that heavy white cast a lot of mineral SPFs can leave behind. It stayed comfortable during long days outside and held up really well while hiking. Most importantly, my face never got burned, even with the intense sun exposure at high altitude. I also have somewhat sensitive skin and didn’t have any irritation or breakouts from it. Definitely a great option if you spend a lot of time outdoors, hiking, traveling, or just want a good mineral sunscreen with reliable protection.

I finally found my daily sunscreen!
I switched to more natural sunscreen a long time ago. But I've hated it. I tried several but found myself skipping sunscreen often because I couldn't stand how they looked and felt on my face. Most of the mineral, EWG approved sunscreens caused breakouts as well (and I don't break out easily so there must be a specific ingredient that doesn't agree with my skin). This one may not be QUITE as "natural" as some of the others but I love it and it's way better than the non mineral alternatives. It goes on smooth, doesn't leave my skin greasy or pasty, makeup works with it, and the tint is just enough that I often skip adding extra makeup over that anyway. Plus zero breakouts after a few weeks of wearing it now. After several years of hating putting sunscreen on my face, I now don't even think twice about it. Very happy!

Great product
This is my favorite tinted sunblock. It’s not greasy and it does not dry out. It also does not have an offensive scent like some do.

Better than I expected
I've tried gazillions of tinted moisturizers with sunscreen, tinted sunscreens, all the things. I was hopeful this would be great, but didn't expect it. But I was surprised on lots of levels. The good: First off, it IS tinted (just in case you didn't catch that). It looked like it would be darkish and too brown for me (I'm about a MAC NW22), but it just kind of disappears into my skin. Second, it has no scent. Hooray! No stinky sunscreen smell on your face! Third, it works! I burn on my nose just by thinking about it, and after days outside in sun, acting, hiking, whatevering, I've had no burns. The not-so-good (but not terrible): It's a little spendy. You don't need me to tell you that, though, you can see the price for yourself and decide if it's worth it (for me it is). And, it seems thick straight out of the tube, but it blends into the skin better than you'll expect. It isn't the most elegant cream ever but it works great. So there you go. Overall, I like it. Do I wish it were cheaper? Of course. But it's not. Nothing is. Do I wish it were a lighter, fluffier cream? Sure, but it's not a deal breaker. Will I buy it again? Yup.

Decent, but not my fave
I really wanted to love this sunscreen, but there are few things holding it back. Pros: very hydrating, gives skin a healthy glow, high spf sun protection Cons: doesn’t work well over all kinds of skincare (had to change up my routine to use this, but I know this could happen with any face product), can lean more orange if not rubbed in completely, doesn’t dry down, you’ll need a setting powder if you want it to be more matte or transfer proof

Very thick but good
This tinted sunscreen is very thick but can be thinned out with a wet sponge. It goes on smooth and looks very natural. The color is perfect for me, I have warm olive complexion with oily skin.

No more visible sun damage
This tinted sunscreen has helped clear up my sun damaged skin through daily use. I have extremely sensitive skin & this hasn’t caused any issues. Tint blends into my skin tone so well that I can skip the foundation when applying makeup. Skin protection & less makeup is a win for me. The 1 drawback is that it leaves my skin shiny but it’s not an issue after applying makeup.
