DIY personal lubricant. I add some of this to give a longer life before spoiling. Spoiling? I use 60 ml syringes to store it. When spoiled, it expands and spills out.

The item came in a timely manner and packaged securely. Wonderful for lotions or other recipes that include water.

Only used some in one batch of product so far but it mixes well. Definitely helpful in preserving skincare items.

I ended up having to use the least amount allowable in my product. It stings my hands even with mid-range use. It doesn't bother my daughter's hands or anyone else who has used my product. Some people just have more sensitive skin than others: I seem to be one of those people. It seems to be very effective in preserving products with natural ingredients.

Ordered the 2 oz/60 ml size. About 25 to 30% leaked out. shipped in plastic bag with no protection. Flip top lid "flipped" slightly open in transit. If I order optiphen again, I'll look for a screw cap. Got it all over my hands when I opened it. No skin irritation so, it's mild in that respect. C'mon Talsen Chemicals, do better.

No seal at the opening of the bottle. For such a potent item, I think it should be sealed at the opening of the bottle.

This is a really great perservative I use it in all my hand made hair products the bottle is small but for the price of 7 dollars I was able to get at least 3 to 4 uses which is fair
