Caribbean Blue Sand Assist Sand Filter Aid and Enhancer Pool & Spa Chemicals

My sand filter would not clear the pool water this year. I added this to my filter and it worked. Instantly raised the gauge pressure and I 2 days my cloudy water was clear. Definitely recommend it.

I have used this type of sand filter media before - it was a solid and was placed in a skimmer basket to dissolve. That worked well. So tried thus powdered type - used as directions said. Normally my pump runs at 9-10 psi after backwashing - used this (had some algae to fight off) absolutly zero effect on the psi - I saw no difference in the "filtering" ability. I allowed the pump to run for 48 hours - added more to the filter - still zero effectiveness on the PSI or the cleaning ability. Added what was left - zero effect. For the cost of the product - saw zero results. And for the record - I give 98% 5 star reviews when a product does what it says.

Good product but don't use to much at once ,

I put in the specified amount and then repeated it the next day and only got a 2-3 psi difference which did nothing.

It was a tiny package. Not worth the money.
