I love the retro look of these sneakers. The rubber toe makes them great for questionable weather. If you have not worn these before, try them on in a store if you can or prepare to return them because they fit a little differently than normal ADIDAS athletic shoes. They are a bit on the wide side of "M" so if you have narrow feet, they may not be the best for you. But if you like the big clonky look of wide sneakers, these will be very cute. You can keep the white leather and rubber clean with regular wipe downs at the end of the day or week. The back heal part is quite cushioned so if you are unsure on your size, maybe order the half size that is a little smaller because they are squishy and will stretch as you wear them. If you order them too big, they will flop off your feet.They are not an elegant look, they are a more cartoonish kind of retro sneaker so if you want something to make your feet look smaller, these really aren't the sneaker for you.They are durable, and will last you a few years of regular wear. If you buy the black color, they will last you even longer as the white gets dirty in the long run despite regular cleanings.

I have bought these shoes over and over again, year after year since 2000-2001. I have always loved the feel, fit and look of these shoes. Very comfortable and useful in most situations. I have gotten these in many different colors over the years, but have always had a pair of the basic white with black stripes as my daily shoe. In white they can be a bit hard to keep clean, but if you spend some time and use the right shoe cleaners they will stay looking great.Over the years it seems like the quality has decreased a little bit and I find they don't last nearly as long as they used to. I used to get around 2 years out of a pair before I would have issues with a bubble in the ball of the sole that would pop when you walked. With newer models I seem to only get about 1 year before I start getting some breakdown in the same place. This was the same issue that would happen after 2 years with the old pairs, it just seems to happen a little sooner now, which is disappointing since the prices have gone up year after year and quality seems to get worse.I have also had some pairs where the seams at the shell toe split and separate, but they seem to have fixed this issue in the latest models, but only time will tell.With all of that said, I am obviously not too disappointed in these flaws as I am still buying them over and over again. This is a great and classic shoe design that I hope will never be retired or changed too drastically.

These shoes need about 40-50 hours of break in time to be comfortable. The first day or two they started to rub a blister on top of my toes because the rubber top of the shoe over the toes is the thing that takes the most time to break in so it starts being more flexible. You can speed this up by massaging around the rubber or bending it about just be careful and don't break anything. After breaking in these shoes are great! They are very high quality and bring me back to the greater times of the '90s and early '00s when not all shoes were made with inferior chinese glue. These shoes got a lot of life in them and I don't expect that anything will be tearing up on it for quite some time. I usually buy shoes that I can wear for a year or so before having to get new ones and this is gonna be one of those pairs I know it.

Ok, after reading posts I was worried these would not fit as my previous ones had. I will say, the only difference I found was where the shoes were made. Store bought ones were made in India. The ones purchased here were made in Indonesia. As for size, they were exactly the same as my store bought ones. Just $20 less.Durability wise, if they don't last two years as the previous ones had I will re-write a review. And yes that is with daily usage, working retail, also wore them into the woods hunting usually about 10 miles a day.

I've been buying the 3 white stripe and black Adidas shoes since I was in junior high. I am now 25. These shoes are great and never go out of style. Classic design that's still cool and not ridiculous looking like a lot of the other shoes I see for sale anymore. I don't want fruit loop colored shoes made out of glossy plastic with stupid wavey treading on the bottom (like something a 5 year old designed). These shoes are classic and cool without being overstated. The only thing I don't like is they seem a tad longer than the size I ordered. I ordered a ten and these feel like 10.5s. I'm going to buy some thicker in-soles too, the ones in them feel a little thin. Anyways my last pair lasted three years and still look decent enough to wear, so I'm sure these will hold up well too. The fact that it's black leather is a bonus too: if they get dirty, it's hard to tell unless you look really closely. I would buy them again.

I love these shoes. This is the 7th or 8th pair I've bought in the last 10 years. They only stay white for so long. They look great with different colored fat laces. Once they get scuffed up you can use sharpie markers to add some extra flair (or I should say you can let your kids). Comfortable and when they get older, they're a great canvas for custom artwork. Also, they are the right shape if you like to double knot and then just slip them on and off without un-tieing.

I have been buying the men's superstar for my husband for several years now. He is a carpet installer, and needs shoes with strong toes that will stand up to dragging across floors. These shoes are not them. I am disappointed in the quality and strength of this particular pair. As I said, I have been buying them for years because of the reinforced toe that rolls over the top. Typically, these shoes last about 9 months per pair, which, at $70 a pop is not too shabby. He has had this particular pair for less than 2 weeks and they are already showing signs of wear. If I have to replace these in less than a month, I am going to be super crabby, and will again be on the hunt for shoes that are worth the ridiculous amount of money people charge because of a name.
