This is a great book to learn from. It is rather difficult as is John's playing. Don't let that discourage you though, practice & it comes easier. This book I believe to be note for note. It even tells you when to use your thumb over the back of the neck for low notes of the chords!

Great song book, I always use it to play, the tablatures also help a lot. Great album also and it gives you a lot of confidence when you play a song like "Gravity" that's really difficult but it's such a great song, also.

Great tab book for a great album. My only improvement is to add the chord shapes used in the song under the header of each song.

The tabs in this book are spot on. There's not much more to say there. The problem, other than personal skill level, is that John Mayer layers in his guitar tracks and playing them all is, of course, impossible. It can be frustrating to not achieve the full bodied sound with a single musician (you). Get some friends together or break out your looper pedal and you'll be in Continuum heaven. That's a warning, not a complaint! 5 stars!

I knew that going into ordering the book, but just to reiterate - this book is not for the beginning guitarist. Although I am still learning the book is nice to have and follow along with the songs.

A great CD, and even better to hear it played by your own hand. Some of the hammers and slides are not transcribed as played on the CD, but overall, it is great.

Excellent. Seems to be note perfect to me. You can find some of these transcriptions on line but is more difficult to find. Would be nice to have a section on amp settings, equipment and effects. I think these kinds of books need to do this to be competitive with the online offering
