Star Wars: Darth Maul

Must buy for any Star Wars fan. Especially if you feel the power of the Dark Side coursing through you!!

ダース・モール主役の小説・コミックはレジェンズの頃から何冊か出版されていますが、その中でも本作は最も新しい（18.4現在）コミックです。モールのジェダイに対する怒りの発端が垣間見える話になっていますが、深堀はしていません。絵は迫力ありアクションシーンも秀逸（特にライトセイバー対決！）ですが、モールの内面を描いた話としてはもう一歩踏み込んでほしかったので星一つ減点しました。 コミックの『スターウォーズ』シリーズでおなじみのナー・シャッダが舞台で、レジェンズから人気の賞金稼ぎキャド・ベインとオーラ・シングも活躍するのもSWファンには嬉しいポイントです。

This graphic novel introduces us to Darth Maul as an aide to Darth Sidious, who has been told to wait before going after Jedi. He, however, hears of a captured Jedi Padawan to be auctioned and comes up with a plan to capture and kill her. We also cross paths with Darth Vader and Bane and his group of bounty hunters... An entertaining tale with great graphics (though some double page spreads are more tricky to view on a kindle) and a very unsurprising ending!
