It works great if there isn’t any wind. The wind blows the water out of the bird bath. But the birds are loving it.?

This little fountain is so easy for my bird bath. Just put it in the water and let it goes. If there is sun, there is a fountain. It does stop working pretty fast on cloudy days or in the evening. But that is a small price to pay for never having to mess with batteries or power cords. It does it's job in attracting birds to your bird bath. I don't see a lot of birds in my bird bath because they have a lot of natural water sources. But the fountain has greatly attracted more birds.

Notice the measurements when ordering and the size of your bird bath. This fountain does work well with the sunshine, but was too thick for the depth of my birdbath, so I returned it. The fountain took up so much space there was only an inch or so on the side, so the birds could not get in the water. It was too thick for the shallow basin also. Would have love to keep it if I had a bigger bird bath. It worked well, though. I did get a quick refund, per Amazon's policy. That is one reason I love Amazon. They refund you without issues all the time.

Perfect for my bird bath. I just peeled the protective coat off the solar panels and put it in the center of the bird bath and I've been watching the birds use it all day.

I had high hopes for this solar fountain, but unfortunately, it did not live up to its promises. Here's a breakdown of my experience: Eco-friendly Design: The idea of an eco-friendly, solar-powered fountain was very appealing, but in reality, this product only works intermittently. It claims to run automatically in 3 seconds when sunlight is sufficient, but I found it to be highly inconsistent. Even on sunny days, the fountain often failed to start, and when it did, the spray height was much lower than advertised, barely reaching 20-30cm instead of the promised 40-60cm. Sprayer for Different Water Styles: While it comes with 6 different nozzle heads, they don't make a significant difference. The water height remains unimpressive regardless of the nozzle used. Additionally, the "exclusive fixer" meant to keep the fountain in place is ineffective; the fountain moves around randomly in the birdbath, making it difficult to enjoy any serenity from the water's trickling sound. Advanced Technology: The water-shortage protection feature and filtration box sound great in theory but fail in practice. The fountain stops working frequently, even when fully submerged, and the filtration box gets clogged easily, requiring constant cleaning. Despite being made of PET laminated solar panel, the fountain struggled to work properly even in mild weather conditions, let alone harsh environments. Multiple Applications: The fountain is quite small, with a diameter of only 6.3 inches, and requires a minimum water depth of 1.2 inches. This limitation makes it unsuitable for larger ponds or pools. While it might be suitable for a small bird bath or a tiny pond, the frequent malfunctions and low water height make it more of a hassle than a helpful addition. Helpful Tips: Following the tips provided, such as not allowing the water to get too low and keeping the pump clean, did not solve the fountain's problems. Even with diligent maintenance, the fountain's performance remained disappointing. The fact that it does not store any energy means it stops working the moment the sun is obscured, making it unreliable. In conclusion, this solar fountain did not meet my expectations. It is unreliable, requires constant maintenance, and fails to deliver on its promises. I would not recommend this product to anyone looking for a consistent and enjoyable water feature for their garden or pond. Save your money and invest in a higher quality, more reliable option.

This works very well but actually too well. It drains the bird bath in 2 hrs or less. Must tell frequently to keep it going. If you're a busy person i wouldn't recommend it. But if you have time to refill often it works great

Amazed at the quality of this little fountain. It has lasted almost a whole year and is still going with all its glory. Do not hesitate to buy! If it quit tomorrow I would still be satisfied with my purchased!

This is an adorable little product that creates a fountain in any water bowl or birdbath. The only caveat is that ***it must be in Direct Sunlight to work***. It will not work if it gets shady or dark out. There are six different nozzles to create different types of upward sprays. You can use it in a wide bowl or bird bath. There are four straw attachments that attached to keep it centered in the bowl. It still works, even if you don’t use the straws. The disc will float on the water. I think this is sweet and fun for an under $10 product to attract butterflies, hummingbirds and bees to your pollinator garden.

Very bad, not even one star

I bought two solar fountains from different suppliers in the same order. This one cost $45, the other $20. They are EXACTLY the same. I thought this one would be somehow different considering it was more than twice the cost, but it was not. Even the packaging was the same. Very disappointed in the price hike by this seller.

This little fountain spray works so well. We didn't expect such a good jet of water for a small solar unit. As mentioned in other posts, it does need full sun for the strong spray. On cloudy days it bubbles in spurts but still functions just fine. Good bang for your buck.

This does work BUT, in slightly windy areas, the streams of water end up outside of our catch basin that it is in so the water ends up going down daily and needs a refill.

Not sure what has happened, we only bought this in Sept. 2024 and it is now only Jan 2025 and the solar panel has completely discouloured with brown marks. I would appreciate the seller contacting me on this to rectify.
