Question 1

Why add carragennan to what seems like a wonderful product?

Accepted Answer

Hey!In case you're not familiar with it, carrageenan is a powder made by boiling, filtering, and milling red seaweed, and it's used to add thickness and viscosity to foods. That sounds harmless enough, but according to some health bloggers and "gurus," it can cause a whole host of scary health problems. Well, research shows these claims are patently false and that food-grade carrageenan is completely safe, even at levels far higher than what's normally found in our diets. Many of the people that claim otherwise are confused by (or unaware of) the fact that there are two types of carrageenan: undegraded carrageenan, which is what's used in food, and degraded carrageenan, which is used in medical imaging. While undegraded carrageenan is safe to eat, degraded carrageenan isn't because of how it's processed. Popular health activists missed this "little" distinction and thus began the carrageenan witch hunt.Degraded carrageenan is now called poligeenan to prevent unnecessary concern by making it clear that as far as our diets are concerned, these are two very different substances.http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/24467586Let me know if you have any more questions! Question 2

Why isn't there an option for subscribe and save on this item when it is offered on many other Legion products?

Accepted Answer

Good question and sorry about the inconvenience! We were out of stock of Triton for awhile which messed it up, because Amazon wants products on subscribe & save to be in stock at all times. Since it's been around 5 months since we were out of stock, hopefully it will be eligible soon. :)

Question 3

Why are some people saying in the reviews that there are issues with fish burps and smell?

Accepted Answer

Fish burps affect some people on any fish oil supplement. I don’t get the fish burps. Also haven’t noticed a smell. It’s a great product .

Question 4

is this product third party tested for mercury and other harmful substances?

Accepted Answer

Hi there,

Yes. We have Triton and all of our products tested by our 3rd party manufactures for safety, potency, and label accuracy.

I hope this helps and let me know if you have any other questions!
