I was very impressed and pleased with this dueling tree. I knew it was made in china, but decided to take the gamble because of the reasonable price. I know these guys play the long game.... Hopefully it won't emit radio activity every time it takes a hit. The thickness of the steel, the welds, the over all weight, the upright angle iron and the powder coating were all very impressive. We shot a few hundred rounds and it worked very well, the swing mechanism is simple and reliable the bolts are carbon grade 8.8 strength. I will keep the bolts sprayed down to keep them from rusting as 17-4ph bolts will cost as much as the whole target.

​When I first received this Highwild AR500 Dueling Tree Target Kit, I ran into a quality control issue. Out of the box, I received two identical halves for the base instead of a matched left and right set. ​Because of the duplicate pieces, the stand couldn't be assembled correctly and was completely unbalanced. With the feet attached one way, the whole stand leaned to the right. If I swapped them around, it just leaned the other way, and no matter how I arranged them, one foot always stuck way out in front of the other. The biggest issue with the lean was that the dueling tree completely failed to function—gravity prevented the targets from swinging over to the other side when hit. ​However, I reached out to Highwild's customer support, and they were fantastic. After just a few quick email exchanges and sharing some photos of the base, they immediately made it right and sent out a new target. ​Now that it is set up correctly with the proper base, the stand has a perfectly stable footprint and functions exactly as it should. The targets swing smoothly, and the steel holds up great. I am extremely happy with the quality of the target itself, and even happier to know that this company stands behind its products with excellent customer service. Highly recommend!

Incredibly robust. I shot it with everything from a 380Acp to a 460 S&W Magnum today. Didn’t hurt it. Great fun with 2 shooters! It’s heavy and stable. I would say it’s good up to a 308 easily, but haven’t tried that yet.

Good quality and works well

Very heavy duty material. It is kind of an awkward size so you have to make sure it is set up properly. It is a lot of fun tho

Worth the additional price

Out of the box very easy to assemble. Me and a friend put it up and target practice with it. 9 mil. 38 special. It is very fun. Well made. Yes I hit the support and did not damage it.

I have had this for axp 1.5 years. It has held up great. Shooting with .9mm, .223, .40, .38, .45acp. I'm expecting my range and getting ready to buy a 2nd one. The only thing I have found that you can't really shoot on it is .22lr from a pistol. Seem to work ok from rifles but from pistols the plates are a little too heavy for them and they will not always flip around. Sometimes only part way then they stop or move back to same side.
