Great Kids’ Fitbit with Minimal Issues
Overall, this kids’ Fitbit has been a great purchase! The battery life is impressive — it easily lasts over a week, even with 24-hour wear. The sleep tracking option is a nice bonus, and it’s waterproof, which gives me peace of mind when my kid forgets to take it off for showers or swimming. The only downsides are that we had to buy a new charger after the original one stopped working within a few months, and the watch only syncs the correct time when it’s regularly connected to Bluetooth. Despite those minor annoyances, it’s a fun and motivating fitness tracker for kids. I’d still recommend it!

Absolute Trash Setup Process
**UPDATED REVIEW** Let me hopefully save you some headache. If you have an Android device, it seems that this process is a bit easier and the Fitbit app accepts a kid's Google account; however, if you only have iOS devices these are the issues, and the resolution: 1) The Ace 3 is designed for kids, but... 2) It REQUIRES a kids Google account, (and now that Google owns Fitbit, there are no non-Google accounts allowed to be created on Fitbit) 3) Anyone under 13 has to have a supervised Google account 4) Fitbit engineers overlooked this MAJOR detail and supervised accounts don't work on Fitbit right now 5) Changing an non-kid account to a kid account (via a birthdate change) doesn't work; Fitbit now says this type of account can't be used. 6) So, the only way it seems to make this work is to create a brand new child Google account FROM THE GOOGLE FAMILY DASHBOARD. If you don't create it from there, it won't work. I burned multiple Google accounts trying other ways. 6) I still think the setup process makes this worth one star at best. It's absurd that a product made for kids can't just be setup easily. It's also absurd that Fitbit requires all Google accounts, but hey DATA. 7) The dumb part is the Charge 6 we bought for our older child was so simple to set up. Everything worked the first time and it was done in 30 seconds. **ORIGINAL REVIEW** Would give zero stars if possible. Google, get your crap together. Setting up an Ace 3 on a supervised Google account doesn't work in the Fitbit app that you've now broken. And GUESS WHAT, a kid under 13 HAS TO HAVE A SUPERVISED GOOGLE ACCOUNT. Oh, I know, I'll just use a Google account with an older birthdate on it — NOPE, NOW THE FIBIT APP SAYS THAT'S NOT A KID ACCOUNT. Fix your junk and stop ruining Christmas for kids.

Nice active tracker for kids or adults looking for something basic
I like it for my son but... I had to lie about his age ( I had to put it in he was 12 instead of 13 on the app) because the app and watch are set up to only work on a parents account and once the child turns thirteen the app tries to force him to have his own account. The watch will not let it be set up on a private account for a thirteen year old. It was very inconvenient. It has held up well to being banged around and being in water. It was easy for my child to learn how to use. It does not break up the sleep tracking like their other Fitbits. It will only tell you how many hours he or she slept but it will not tell you how much of that was deep sleep, REM sleep or light sleep. I think it is a bit expensive for what it offers and the hoops you have to jump through if your child is 13 or almost 13 are no fun. I would only recommend if you can find it for sale like 50% off.

Fitbit Ace 3: Kid-Approved Fitness Fun
Hey, fellow kiddos! Let me spill the beans on the Fitbit Ace 3 – the cool gadget that's basically the superhero of fitness trackers for us mini-humans. **Awesome Design:** First off, this thing looks rad! It's not just a watch; it's like having a mini robot buddy on your wrist. The colors are as popping as a bag of Skittles, and the design is so comfy that it's like wearing a high-tech friendship bracelet. **Move it, Move it:** The Fitbit Ace 3 is like your personal cheerleader, but way less embarrassing. It keeps track of all your epic moves – from playground cartwheels to jumping on the bed. You earn virtual badges, and let me tell you, collecting those is as exciting as finding an extra cookie in your lunchbox. **Splash and Dash:** The best part? It's waterproof! Yup, you heard it right. You can wear it in the rain, in the pool, or when you're playing "Let's see who can make the biggest splash." It's like having a buddy that's up for any water adventure. **Sleepy Time Magic:** It even tracks your sleep! It's like a sleep wizard, telling you if you had a legendary night's sleep or if you need to work on your snooze game. Parents might not get it, but we know how important sleep is for ninja-level energy. **Challenge Accepted:** The Fitbit Ace 3 loves challenges. It's like having a mini game console on your wrist, but instead of playing Mario, you're challenging yourself to be the most active ninja in the neighborhood. Step challenges, active minutes – it's all about beating your own records. **Parental High-Five:** Parents love it too because they can keep an eye on how much we're moving and grooving. It's like having a secret agent on your wrist that reports back to HQ (don't worry, it's just your parents making sure you're being a healthy superhero). **Final Verdict:** If you want a fitness sidekick that's as cool as a snow day, the Fitbit Ace 3 is where it's at. It turns getting active into a game, and let's face it – who doesn't love a good game? It's like having a high-five for your wrist, reminding you that being healthy is as awesome as a surprise weekend without homework. Get ready to unleash your inner fitness superhero!

Great for use as a Potty Watch!
We were looking for a way to help remind our child to use the bathroom throughout the day while at school. This fitbit - priced at $50 is a bit more expensive than other "potty watches" but you can set up to 8 timers throughout the day - varying by day (different schedule say M-W-F) with either a sounded alarm or silent vibration. This thing worked OUTSTANDING. Not only is it 100% waterproof- but the battery life of 1.5-2 weeks is also spectacular. Every $20-$30 option we could find for a potty watch seemed to fall short in quality or functionality. The wristband (minions) seems a little flimsy and expect it to fail within about 6 months- but otherwise if we can get 1 good solid year out of this device I will call it a win. My child also really likes the step count, and I find the sleep tracking to be extremely interesting and insightful! All in all a very good well made product for a child's entry fitbit as well use for steps, sleep tracking, and a potty watch reminder. I do recommend!

Decent upgrades to the best kid’s tracker out there!
*April 2022 update at the end* We’ve had this Fitbit Ace 3 since launch, and I’d like to point out a few of the upgrades when compared to the Fitbit Ace 2: - More rounded / Curved shape, seems like it would feel more comfortable to wear. The part to tuck in the strap is also better, strap doesn’t come out as often if your kid had that issue - Better screen - the animations and display look better - Longer battery life. It is now 8 days instead of 6, and the battery noticeably lasts much longer - New animated faces (a few), with apparently Minion licensed content and straps coming soon - No more one button on the left. Both left and right side have these two touch sensors which can be used for going back to the menu or activating the water lock - Waterproofing has been improved to a depth of 50m, but if your kid is going for a swim, they’ll have to turn on the water lock (long press of both sensors, and then double tap screen when it asks you to) - Still connects seamlessly with the Fitbit app and kids view mode etc. - BIGGEST UPGRADE: Fitbit has since the last 2-3 years moved to bad charging connectors in my opinion, the old Alta 2 ones were the best. The Ace 2 and Inspire use magnetic chargers made of plastic but they don’t hold well. With the Ace 3, they’ve added two clips that hold the charger in place. Not sure if other new fitbit chargers have this, but this is a big upgrade from the old Ace 2 charger which was not easy to hold in place All in all, neat upgrades to the best kids tracker out there, at the same price point as before! July 2021 update: as promised, Fitbit has updated the app to include new Minion animated faces! Kid loves it, thanks! :) April 2022 update: alright guys, the Fitbit Ace 3 that we have is going strong. Through sports, getting wet, and the daily wear and tear of a 6 year old. But CHECK THIS.. the battery life is just INCREDIBLE. This Ace 3 holds charge for 3-4 weeks easily. Easily. I’m curious to hear other peoples experience as we have a day one device, but I’m just blown away. They said the battery life was upgraded to 8 days, but going almost a month without charge is just amazing. Well done, Fitbit. Well done.
