Carlyle Opti-Folate L-Methylfolate - 15mg (90 Capsules)

I've been taking this supplement for several years. My psychiatrist prescribed a prescription dose due to a gene mutation that affects my depression. The prescription was very expensive so my psychiatrist told me I could switch to this. I have found this just as effective as the expensive prescription I was taking. I take L-methylfolate on the direction of my doctor, to aid in the absorption of my medication. Opti-Folate is the same active ingredient as a very expensive prescription medication that does the same thing. I can definitely tell a difference in the efficacy of my medication when I don't take the supplement. My doctor was also impressed that I'd found a much more affordable option than the prescription supplement and was going to recommend it to other patients. I always receive it within a few days of ordering, so I don't have to plan far ahead to make sure I don't run out. I certainly don't need extra bottles of anything sitting around waiting to be opened. This is always my "go-to" brand.
