This Sabatier turned is currently manufactured in China!

Would this work well on a cast iron skillet, or would the metal in this turner be too soft?

This spatula will work well with cast iron.

Are others experiencing rusting ? I see a few in reviews but wondering if it’s an anomaly. Ours is rusty after 3 stints in the dishwasher

I also have rust at the base of the handle, and also at the tip. For the price it seems unfair, especially that it is not returnable at this point. Another ripoff.

Is the "flipper' portion sturdy or does it bend with pressure?

The turner flexes at the crease but the flat flipper portion is very stiff and flexes slightly with strong pressure. This is a adequate flipper for flat grill work to flip or scrap but the flipper blade is shorter than most I've used for grill work.
