I noticed 4 tiny screws on the back and wondered if the batteries were replaceable or not. If it turns out that the batteries are not replaceable they were still well worth the price. Nice and bright and motion activated. They work very nicely.

Genuinely not sure why they stopped selling this at my local Walmart, but the one I had blew out one night when we had a blackout, and I was trying to look for the exact motion detector hallway light my dad bought a few years ago but could no longer find. After a few searches on Amazon, I was able to find it! Not much to say besides it works well as a hallway light in the middle of the night when it’s pitch black. It detects motions and lights up really well, along with it being aesthetically pleasing. Our last one lasted for a good couple of years, and probably longer if it wasn’t for the blackout short circuiting it. Highly recommend.

The motion detection is spot on, works great every time. There is a daylight sensor that disables the light during daytime which is great. There is a short delay in the light activating if you have another light on in the room then shut it off, expecting the motion sensor to kick in. It just takes it a few seconds to adjust to the change in ambient lighting conditions. I did expect a warmer white than this puts off, as I use it as a bathroom night light and was hoping for something on the very warm side. It's also quite bright, which is good for daytime use in an unlit room without windows, but a bit too bright for nighttime use for my tastes...that said I would prefer no night light at all as I can see just fine at night but others in the house can't.

I have these sensors in several rooms of my home and in the hallways. They are more pleasant to look at than others I have used through the years. I is white and gives off a very bright light with is great. The light stays on for probably about a minute although I have not actually times it. It goes on easily and quickly with motion from front and sides. Did I mention-- it is pleasant to look at even when the light is off. They are not inexpensive but worth the extra money.
