What are the differences between the 60 & 66 series of Go Find?

The older 60 uses a single mono loop coil. The newer 66 uses two coils in the Double D configuration.

How many feet down does it detect?

Good , reliable to 6 to 7 INCHES.

Can this be used in salt water and salt water beaches?

It can be used on salt water beaches and salt water. The coil in waterproof but not the control box, so you can only take it in the water only so far. The Go-Find 66 has an automatic ground balance which helps keep it stable in saltwater water mineralization.

How is this better than the other models?

I can't really compare this to others as it's the first I've owned. I have used it a few times but no significant finds, unfortunately. I'm still learning how to use the Minelab and there are some strange sounds and readings sometimes that make me think it's malfunctioning, but due to my inexperience I'm not ready to fault the unit just yet.

It is a very good detector. the App is very useful. Only annoying thing is if you buy this you won't get the phone holder as it's no longer included. You'll have to buy one. Holding a phone and the detector at the same time isn't really doable.

Nice little machine that packs down for a quick run out to the field or the beach. Was amazing 😻. Sensitivity was on point and easy to use! Another great product from minelab, and I am exited to add it to my tool box. I cannot wait to try it on our nugget ground!

Good little unit, small and easy to tote around. I really like how easy to use. The only thing I do not like would be how flimsy it feels when it is fully extended. But it supper light so that makes up for it.
