Healthy Alternative to Lactose
I will say this is not the tastiest protein powder out there. I didnโt come to this powder for taste, rather I sought it in order to reduce additives in my diet. It does mix pretty well and chunks up like most whey powders so an electric whisk is best and blender bottle second. My favorite flavor is for sure vanilla. I just think they did the best job masking some of the bean profile compared to the others. Chocolate is good but tastes more on the strait cacao side. And of course, unflavored is unflavored. I have tried them all. Vanilla is also very usable in ice cream, baking, and other uses in the kitchen. Give this protein a shot if you truly are interested in your digestion and gut health. I can drink a lot of this and feel fine unlike the casein/lactose counterparts. It does not taste the best and is granular in texture. Do not drink with water if you care about flavor profile. Overall, it mixes well. I recommend mixing two scoops of this with A2 milk 2% 20 oz, two tablespoons of pumpkin puree, and a dash of cinnamon. Maybe add some vanilla extract. Gradually add the ingredients and stir with an electric wand. It tastes great!

Actually pretty good for what it is
I'm trying to up my protein lately, but I can't have dairy products, soy or artificial sweeteners, so I'm kind of limited with protein powders. I got this specifically because it didn't have stevia or other gross fake sweeteners in it. This was my first time trying pea protein, and it's better than I expected based on many of the reviews. Yes, it's a little chalky, but I expected that. I wouldn't necessarily recommend just mixing with water, as it will likely taste very chalky. I've been blending with frozen bananas, oat milk, and chia seeds (and sometimes tossing in other fruit for more flavor), and it tastes pretty good. It blends well in my blender, and the sweetness of the fruit plus the sugar in the powder makes the resulting smoothie plenty sweet. I do taste the vanilla flavor, and while I'm not sure I love it, it's fine. Next time I'd probably opt for the unflavored version, and just add a dash of real vanilla extract to my smoothie if I want it. The pea protein hasn't caused any digestive issues for me, but I'm only using it 2-3 times a week at this point. I don't know if it's the addition of fruit as well, but the smoothies I make with this make me feel pretty full and could almost be meal substitutes. Given that protein powder in general is expensive, and it's even more difficult to find something with real sugar in it, I feel like this was a pretty good value for the money. I'll likely repurchase when I run out.

Simple quality product
I was hesitant to purchase due to some of the reviews about flavor. I was looking for something that was affordable, with minimal ingredients so it doesn't upset my stomach, and one that was NSF certified so I could feel confident in the quality. I always add my protein to my smoothies so I personally dont like the super sweetened protein powders because its overpowering for me. So far i love this protein because its exactly what ive been looking for. It has that grainy/chalky protein taste but i really dont mind that with my protein, although I know some people do. Definitely wouldnt just add it to water or milk and expect it to taste awesome but for smoothies and if you want a clean, reliable product to bump up your protein intake, this is an awesome protein powder. Just depends on what matters to you.

Clean Protein but Not Very Tasty
I really wanted to like this protein powder. The price is great, and the ingredient list is clean and simple, which I really appreciate. I also like that itโs plant-based, making it a good option for a variety of dietary preferences. However, the flavor just didnโt work for me. I actually thought I might have accidentally ordered the unflavored version at first because the vanilla taste is extremely mild and barely noticeable. It also has a slightly gritty texture, even when blended. That said, it does have some positives. It blends well in a smoothie without clumping, and I didnโt experience any digestive issues or stomach discomfort, which is important for me with protein powders. Iโve been using it in protein shakes, and while Iโll finish the container, I personally wouldnโt purchase it again due to the lack of flavor and texture. If taste isnโt a priority and youโre looking for a very clean, simple protein powder, this could still work for you.

Deserves a better rating against like-kind
Deserves a better rating when compared with like-kind. I'm a little more spartan when it comes to supplements and want the supplement, not the useless extras or marketing fluff that pumps the price, not the muscle. The vanilla flavor is very marginally more pleasant, but I prefer the additional servings and protein in the unflavored. I add fruit, peanut butter, honey, and milk or coconut water anyway. It's gold standard pea protein at nearly half the cost of whey. I get enough dairy and meat protein from my regualr daily diet, so pea protein is worth the savings without converning me about missing bovine sources in my diet.

SOLID CHOICE
Iโll be honest โ this is not the best tasting or easiest mixing protein out there. Itโs a little grainy and takes some effort to shake properly. But thatโs exactly why I bought it. This is one of the few proteins that is truly clean. No additives, no sweeteners, no weird ingredients โ just straight pea protein. And if youโre trying to avoid all the extra stuff, that matters. Also, no emulsifiers or mixing agents. Most protein powders add those to make it dissolve easier and feel smoother, but theyโre still extra processed ingredients your body has to deal with. They donโt add real nutritional value โ they just improve texture and shelf life. Most โsmoothโ proteins are smooth because they add things to make them that way. This one doesnโt. So yeah, you give up a little convenience and textureโฆ but you know exactly what youโre putting in your body. For me, that trade-off is worth it. If you want something clean and simple, this is a solid choice at least for me.

Doesnt taste great, and no hint of vanilla
Doesn't tasted great. If you're looking for a protein powder to possible use alone with milk I would not recommend. To make it taste good you need to add sweeteners in addition to fruit which defeats the purpose in my opinion. Good thing about it is that its cheap, but would not purchase again due to taste. I'm using protein powders as a meal replacement and for post-workouts, the taste alone made me take a break which isn't ideal, so if you need something to keep you on track in your journey, this isn't the best choice. Since I still have it, I will try baking with it to see if that helps with the taste.

Trying different protein
I have tried 5 different brands of protein so far, the vanilla flavor is hardly detectable, not a big deal, and in my shaker bottle it tends to settle on bottom & when shaken it has a grainy consistency going down my throat, which seems to be a common trait with most powders Iโve tried, and thatโs a challenge at times due to a spinal chord surgery c-3 to c-7 & the grainy texture makes me cough a lot. The reason Iโve started trying protein powders is I try to go to gym every day but avg 5 days a week, trying to build/regain muscle mass Iโve lost, Iโm currently 75y/o & my skeleton is pretty banged up. Iโm giving it a 4 rating & may buy again.

Love hate, but love with adjustments!
I gave it a 5 star for the following reasons which also has its cons to them, but easily worked around: - It's not overly sweet. In fact the barely there sweetness makes it almost a turn-off. However, compared to other brands that are "too sweet", I can control the sweetness factor to my liking by adding fruit and whatever else I want to my liking. -to get 25gr of protein per serving, you need the too large scoops. Technically this would equate to 2.5lbs of any other supplement that requires the one scoop for the same amount of protein. Still a deal! -The list of ingredients is as clean as you'll find out there! Just for this reason alone this is a great purchase! -If baking with this and want to get the same amount of protein per servings as the one scoop counterpart, you'll have to change up the recipe a bit to accomodate the extra dry ingredients to liquid ration. -I made chocolate protein icing with the chocolate version on my protein brownies.............the possibilities are endless! Just make a few adjustments and trust me, you'll end up loving it!

No Discernable Vanilla Taste
Tastes like an early Joe Weider formula I used to favour. However there is no vanilla taste to this product at all which is very disappointing. Guess I'll be stuck with ordering the one without vanilla next time.

DISGUSTING!!! DO NOT BUY
DO NOT BUY!! This is the worst protein powder I have ever tasted. I had it once mixed with my usual yogurt and fruit and itโs the worse thing I have ever tasted and my stomach was immediately upset. Also buyer beware. They wonโt return unopened containers.

Blends well with others.
I really like this product. I use it regularly to get more protein in my diet. It might be a little grainy for some people, but since I down it in one shot that's not an issue to me. It doesn't have to be super sweet as I blend it with fruit and juice.
