Dear customer, the model with the circuit in this kit needs to use AA batteries.

What size batteries does each item require?

All 5 items use AA. This was a gift for our 8 year old granddaughter. Best gift she received according to her.

Can this projects be disassembled and reused?

I suppose you could do it. The one thing to be concerned about are the screws used to hold some pieces together. If you strip the wood then you're done. If you're gentle it should be ok. Bottom line- yes, if you are careful
