Great speakerphone.
I bought this because I just traded in one car for another and my new one doesn't have integrated bluetooth, which I've become very accustomed to. The pluses: it works great, is small and disconnects automatically to save on battery. Has voice to tell you when it disconnects. The minuses: it says "disconnected" when using it with my smartphone while the phone is connecting, so it is a bit annoying, but not too bad. It has to be charged regularly if you use it alot. In my prior cars with integrated bluetooth, I got a lot of complaints from people about the road noise (even in my quiet BMW) and I sometimes had a hard time hearing without really cranking the volume up. I've used this one a few times now and no complaints, so I think it is really good about canceling out the noise. It has an easy to use volume adjustment right on it so on the hearing end, no problems. It is relatively small, fits right up on the visor - really thin, you don't even notice it's there. You can just press a button to connect and it works great. It has the FM connectivity if you want to integrate it with your car speakers, but I think the sound through the speaker is fine as is. The only thing I don't like is having to charge it, but you have to do that with any of them. I just keep the charger in the car and charge when I'm not using it. It's a great speakerphone and I highly recommend it.

Overall Good Product but,Several Flaws
Overall a good product, well made, compact, easy to operate, quick charging, loud speaker volume, clear voice transmission and flawless automatic proximity blue-tooth connection. However the K100 incoming call ringtone is BARELY audible. This is unacceptable especially when for everything else the speaker volume is extremely loud. You have to rely on your phone ringtone to be aware of an incoming call. Also to answer an incoming call you are supposed to lightly hit the answer button if you press too hard the K100 will register a "long press" and reject the call and it is terminated. If any accessories in the vehicle ( like power windows or seats) use electric motors, the FM transmitter picks up static noise during their operation.

Finally got a speakerphone
After reviewing multiple sources for all of the top products, I decided to get this unit based on some information and rates from CNET on the quality of the calls, and the reputation of the company for making solid hands-free devices. Getting the speakerphone paired up and running with my iPhone was easy, much like my Plantronics bluetooth headset. The controls seemed basic, but functional, especially while driving. I was surpised at the quality and volume that came from the sound from the built in speaker. Switching to the FM mode gave the speaker a richer sound, but I ended up turning down the base tone to get just the right voice quality. While calling others from the road(in what I consider not the most quiet car), call quality and clarity was acceptable. I did have to close my sunroof, for the individual said it sounded like a puffing sound, but they could still hear me clearly. At lower speaking volume(me), the individual said I had more of a digitized voice. At a more stronger volume (just a little louder then I would use with a person sitting next to me), the quality was much better. The best feature and the one I intend to use the most often, is playing music to the FM stereo from the iPhone. I've had many devices over the years, but this one I will enjoy the most. The K100 did a good job at reproducing the sounds, although at times at a higher volume, some clipping and distortion was heard. I don't intend to rock the car next to me, so where I have things set, I am pleased. I haven't tested the staying power of the battery, but if it is like my headset, it will last a number of hours, and a few months on standby. All in all if asked, I would recommend this unit, especially at the price point. I consider this is a good value for someone looking to get into using a car speakerphone.

Waste of Money - Big Disappointment!
Cannot hear people on it and they cannot hear me. Horrible plain and simple waste of money. Volume is much too low, can't hear what their saying and background noise is too loud. Very disappointed considering the online review said it was good for cancelling out background noise... I even used the site that tested this model in an Aveo, a very noisey car!! I have an Aveo and this speakerphone is not even useable. The FM option doesn't work, its all static where you catch about every 3rd word. only good thing is it is easy to connect to your phone.

use 4 stars, durability 1 star
Got the k100 in January and had no problem until about a week ago when the slot for the charging cord fell out of the speakerphone. Used the device approx. an hour a day listening to audiobooks and music on my cellphone during my commute. FM transmitter sound quality was decent, most feedback and static was eliminated if I left the charger plugged into both the device and the lighter. Even though I drive in rural areas, the k100's limited choice of stations was almost too limited - did finally find one that was free. Only used the K100 for calls a few times. I could hear the caller clearly but was often told that my end of the conversation was hard to understand & hear. I would still be using the k100 but when I picked it up last week the charging cord with the micro-usb slot attached fell out of the k100. No slot, no way to charge, increased static over the fm transmitter when I tried to use it. So I'm temporarily using the older fm transmitter and trying not to cringe too much over the hiss and squeal. Looking for a new bluetooth fm transmitter but it probably won't be a plantronics.

L'autonomie a l'air correcte.

I live almost 35 miles from office which means its a good 1.5 to 2 hours drive each side. It is such a saviour in those long office conference calls. I have clipped this to my visor so i get ample sound and stay focused on the road while talking. I have even paired it to my car stereo FM but then it does get little white noise so i wouldnt recommend that. I am using this product from almost 3 years now. The buttons are quite handy and you wont have to look at them when you know where they are, making it convenient. Double press the center button to dial the last dialled number from a locked phone which is quite convenient. Another cool feature - if you are not on bluetooth but on a regular call through your phone's speaker, you can still pair it with plantronics without disconnecting and as soon as they pair, the voice shifts from phone's speaker to plantronics automatically. Very handy when you are getting into your car to drive out and dont want to disrupt an ongoing call. If you momentarily step out of the car, the bluetooth stays on for i think 30 mins to ensure it automatically connects when you get back in the range. One caveat here is that it you are standing outside but you are still in the range and try make a phone call, the call goes through the bluetooth speakerphone! So you will have to make sure that you chose the phone's speaker (iphone for example) otherwise you wouldn't hear anything thinking it was dud call, but the person might be saying a hello..hello on your plantronics ;-) If your living spaces are close to your car parking, make sure you turn plantronics off before leaving otherwise it will stay connected and eat battery on either side (phone + bluetooth). Easy one touch operation, voice quality on the other side is very good - people never complained of my voice being weak or sounding thin / coming off a pipe. It has advanced Bluetooth so you can make out from the quality of the call itself. The battery lasts for a long time. Pairs with Blackberry, Iphone and even Lumia 720 without a problem. However, i sometimes feel the speaker could get a bit louder especially when I accelerate making my engine groan ;-) but that's just me. If you have a luxury car with a quiet cabin, with or without (highly unlikely) an inbuilt bluetooth and not happy with its quality, then buy this without thinking.
