Hardly illustrated. The fact that it is advertised as being illustrated is misleading. I would not have bought this version had I known that it had very few illustrations.

Gulliver Comes to LIfe
David Case's rendering of Swift's Gulliver's Travels does the enduring classic justice. It's so funny, I found myself laughing and groaning out loud ... had to be careful to keep my eye on the road while listening to the gullible Gulliver's misadventures. With Mr. Case's impeccable timing and acerbic edge, Gulliver's Travels easily makes the journey into the 21st Century and it's all-too-clear that we still need Dean Swift's indignation.

Ich brauchte das Buch für meine Bachelorarbeit, deshalb habe ich nach einer günstigen Variante gesucht. Letztendlich bin ich bei diesem Buch hängengeblieben und bin sehr zufrieden damit. Es ist schön klein und leicht, liegt beim Lesen gut in der Hand. Für jeden der die Story nicht kennt: Sie regt wunderbar zur kritischen Reflektion über die Gesellschaft an.

Great Book but the publishers have really dropped the ball on quality. Was looking to buy and build a collection of some great novels. Its nice to be able to buy have a collection at the reasonable price but you also have to be able to read the book as well. The typeface and font size leave a lot to be desired. Unless you have a magnifying glass, some super strong reading glasses or perfect 20/20 vision give this a miss.
