I like this a lot. I love the easy-to-clean, high-gloss surface. The drawers are a bit more shallow than I would have liked. I did have to backtrack a few times during assembly after realizing how edges should be aligned, because there is some allowance (edges can be aligned to one side or another) but no indication in the manual regarding which end to make flush. Too often, I had to figure out the best alignment later as the assembly progressed, and then backtrack. One specific example is the metal bar that crosses the entire table underneath; it can be installed flipped either way, but one way has an indentation for bolts. I had to look ahead in the manual and contemplate, to figure out which way the indentation side went, because no direction for this was provided in the manual. Bottom line: It is possible to assemble this without making ends flush on the optimal side, or to flip the bar in the wrong direction, etc., so that the end result doesn't look perfect -- even though the directions were followed. Near-perfect alignment in the finished product takes a very detail oriented person to question every step, feel along every edge, look ahead in the manual, and be willing to backtrack at times. One last note: I am SO very glad I purchased the larger 47" one. If you have the space for it, I highly recommend the longer one. I was nervous the longer size would be less sturdy, with a wider gap between the support legs. However it is actually quite sturdy and stable, even at this longer length. I needed every bit of the length, because the depth is so narrow. Overall, for the price, this is a very nice table.

I orderd this as a Christmas gift for my 21 year old daughter. Initially I was sold on getting the Ikea Malm vanity but it had a couple of design flaws regarding the drawers. I absolutely LOVE this vanity! It is beautiful, sleek and elegant. I love the glossy finish. The drawers have plenty of room, we added acrylic storage trays. I didn't want the traditional "craft room" looking drawers, My daughter can store larger bulkier items in the bathroom closet. It was very easy to put together but the dog kept slowing me down, all in the way wanting attention and constant belly rubs. I was able to put it together by myself, I did use a power drill which helped but not necessary as the vanity comes with all the tools required. It's also very sturdy. My only complaint is there was a about a 1.5" scratch/groove on the vanity top but thankfully it blends in (maybe it was painted over) but it's not noticeable, I just happened to run my fingers across it and felt it.

Guys... I'm obsessed. This desk fits perfectly in the space I had. I'm using it as a manicure station. I was using my computer desk but was ruining everything with acetone so I made a set up on the other side of my office just for nails and I'm in love with it. I have not had the chance to test the desk against acetone or any messes like that but the glossy overlay seems pretty durable. Just be careful not to scratch it because the pressed wood would be exposed to water damage at that point. Assembly was a process but the hardware was well organized and the instructions were very clear. It took us about 30 or so minutes to put together. The drawers aligned perfectly and overall I'm very happy with my purchase. The unit seems very sturdy and sits evenly on the floor. Its a little taller than your standard desk/table so keep that in mind when pairing with a stool or chair. I use a desk chair that is lifted up all the way and it fits fine. A short vanity stool may not be tall enough if that is what you are using it for. Also the depth is pretty narrow so if you are looking for a larger workspace this probably wouldn't work for you. If the desk doesn't hold up to polish or makeup messes I will update this review to reflect those issues but for now, 5 stars!

Just what I needed. For my makeup application area. I got tired of standing in the bathroom leaning over the sink lol. This vanity desk was not the hardest to put together although the drawers (like most self assembly furniture) was a bit tricky. I had to make some tweaks to get the drawers to line up and be level enough. I was successful in doing that but I see why some other reviewers complained. If you’re handy and have tools and are patient to make some adjustments, you’ll be fine. Thats just the nature of these types of drawers, it doesn’t make the product bad, you just need to make some adjustments to fine tune things is all. People who complained probably have no idea how or expect things to be perfect without tweaking. I love the glossy table top, and I added my own mirror and a rider stand to make the mirror higher so I can sit at the vanity without it needing to slouch to see myself lol. It’s a 23”x18” mirror, and the riser gives me an extra 6” lift. Desk is perfect heig it for vanity sitting. Not the most sturdy sturdy but it’s inexpensive stuff so I don’t expect luxury high end stuff. It’s totally perfect for what I wanted to achieve. I can’t complain at all. I got the 39” one, wanted to keep things minimal in my bedroom.

I've never been much of a make-up person, especially in the past twenty years, but the post-pandemic unmasking (and the prospect of going out into society again) had me wanting a fresh face. Like so many other ladies out there, I bought a bunch of new summer/fall 2021 makeup. I had a little empty nook in the bedroom, and the dimensions of this table were perfect for it (who needs a middle-of-the-night fire escape anyway?). I seriously considered getting something "used" on Facebook Marketplace that I could paint and breathe new life into...like an old wooden piece with matching chair... but then I started thinking "what if it reeks of perfume?" and "what if it is infested with bugs?" and "do I really need another painting project right now?" So I talked myself right out of that idea and decided that buying new was the only way to go. Plus, I'm in my 60s and I've never had a vanity, so splurging a little on one was loooong overdue! This vanity was a bit pricey, but IMO it was worth it. It's perfect for my needs. The top is shiny smooth, the drawers are great (open/close smoothly and have plenty of room), it has no odor, and it fits perfectly in its designated spot. I still need to get a more comfy chair to use with it, but for now I'm just using an antique that was my husband's grandmother's chair. I have a cushion around here somewhere that fits perfectly on it, which I'll look for this weekend. I bought a smooth silicone mat for the top of the vanity, and it fits perfectly too. I wanted it to protect the pretty top from scratches, and to catch makeup fallout. It'll be super easy to just roll it up and rinse it off in the pantry sink when it gets dirty. Now for the assembly part... ugh. My poor husband!!! I thought it would be easy for him, after reading a review from one woman who said that she put it together herself in 2 hours. I honestly don't know how she could've done that. My husband is pretty handy and has a cellar full of tools, and even with that it took him the better part of a Sunday afternoon to assemble it (way more than 2 hours!). Of course, that does include one misstep... he had to take it apart at one point because he did something wrong, so that added a little more time overall to the project. And then at the end, he had a heck of a time getting the drawers adjusted so that they were straight and flush. He fiddled with that well into Monday. But it was FINALLY right. If you aren't handy or don't have a person in your life who is (and is willing to spend half their day off doing this for you), you might want to reconsider buying it. It comes with a hundred screws!! That's right, and I'm not exaggerating... 1-0-0 SCREWS!!! And it comes with a tiny little Allen wrench that is pretty useless, and my hubby said that the job would have taken him twice or three times as long if he'd used that. Instead, he used tools from his own toolbox. One of the things that I saw him using that seemed to be very efficient was an Allen wrench that had a long handle with a skeleton key handle on the end. I'll talk to him later about what he used exactly, and then I'll add some pictures onto my review of the tools you will need. If you decide that the assembly doesn't scare you and you want to tackle it, you won't be disappointed by the result. The final product is beautiful and will give you many years of enjoyment! (Luckily, my husband has a good sense of humor. I got to listen to him singing "99 f'ing screws in the box" while he was assembling it for me... to the tune of "99 bottles of beer on the shelf." He's a funny guy!)

Very simple to assemble, and super cute! The size and quality of the desk is on point!

DO NOT GET THIS unless YOU REALLY LIKE TO BUILD THINGS!!! This baby comes with approximately 3 million parts and screws and there are 20 steps for its construction. It took me about 3 hours to build. Yes, 3 hours!!! The instructions are mostly clear but there are a few times where you just gotta go with your gut intuition and common sense. After building it, I thought I would feel a sense of accomplishment and relief but sadly no. The drawers do not align with each other and they rattle. One drawer sticks very badly when opening and closing. I followed the directions to a T and I even had no extra parts left over, so how could this have happened? Upon close inspection I discovered that the premade holes for the one drawer are slightly off and the drawer mechanisms are, just to put it bluntly, cheap. If I were a trained carpenter with my own tools and supplies, this might be an easy fix but sadly I’m just a regular starry-eyed Amazon shopper who thought they were buying a nice desk that anyone could build in a timely manner. The overall look of the desk would be ok if not for the misaligned drawer and a small chip on the drawer front that I thought I could live with but now because of everything else makes me really angry. Perhaps I got a bad one. Ordinarily, I would return it but the thought of taking 3 million pieces apart, packing it all up and dragging it to a Whole Foods or to a UPS Store makes me want to cry so regrettably, I will have to keep it.

This desk looked very beautiful and I was excited to get it but very disappointed after receiving it and removing parts from the packaging. The laminate was chipped on a corner and peeling off and there were several blemishes. I believe this would be a beautiful table with a five star rating but even with blemishes I can't assemble it because the steel crossbar was welded incorrectly and unusable. Hoping customer service will resolve my issue in a timely manner since this table was intended to be a gift. Update: customer service was excellent and eager to help me find a solution to this issue and I'm very happy with the outcome and I love this desk. I would definitely recommend.

Ich habe lange überlegt welcher kleine Tisch passen könnte. Sie Qualität ist für den Preis super. Angenehme glatte Oberfläche und leichter Aufbau. (Aufbauanleitung nur in Englisch) Passt als Schminktisch, Konsole im Flug oder kleine Schreibtisch. Die Schubaden sind relativ stabil. Klare Empfehlung.

Brilliantly packaged. Everything was in the box. All labelled and brilliant instructions. Disabled mum and 14 year old out it together. Definitely easier with battery screwdriver! Amazing value for money. Secure drawers and plenty of space for makeup. Wipe clean surface is a must for this dressing table. I liked the ease of this being out together. No fiddle nails to secure base of drawers. Pre driled and very good quality
