How do these perform on stainless steel to deburr holes?

They work good in a2,d2, and stainless 304. I have several types, 60, 82, and 90 deg. I don't run a high rpm though. I use these in a hand drill motor and in my mill. Remember start slow, multi blade with light chip depth will give a good finish. They're though enough to champher an edge also, at least occasionally!

What is the correct speed to avoid the chattering that leaves a very poor finish in the countersink?

Try running them at a higher speed and make sure EVERYTHING is as solidly locked down as possible. good luck
