- Stargate: The Blu-ray Collection

Great product. Huge difference in picture quality over DVD. I watched the pilot episode on DVD and then switched to these Blu-rays, and the improvement was immediately noticeable. A must‑have for any Stargate fan. The corners of the box got minor dents during shipment to Europe.

Beautiful crystal clarity! Worth every penny! My preferred packaging (comfy fabric and plastic sleeves, not the snap in ones where you think you're going to break a disk getting it out).

Best Binge Worthy Serries. Love SG1 the best. The second best is Atlantis. And SGU was okay. They could have ended the serries better tying up all the loose ends. It’s on streaming service also. But we got the DVD and BluRay of the Entire Season. Love me Some StarGate !!! 12/24/2024: Happy Holiday Update: We did purchase the BluRay of the Whole Complete SG Serries We love it We a firm Believers and we watch them over n over again never gets old. Bluray by far is a real pleasure to watch esp. on a 4K flat TVs. The disc has more footage and unedited scenes they edited for tv and time, and def. The special features is a bonus. But Blu-ray set has less disc then the dvd set do. They still packed it economically in one case not separated, disc are fun not scratched and in a space saver box set. Also Amazon Prime Video has all the series and even the Cathrine Lanthfield “the old lady who dad discovered the sg” and the two separate SG1 movies also. Anywho thanks for the update happy holidays.

Great series for any sci-fi lover.

Got this for my dad, a big sci-fi watcher. Box set kept him busy for awhile

I missed many episodes in each series and now I can see all the episodes in order.

I wrote to VEI and explained my situation. I had received two copies of the fourth disc of season 3 of Atlantis, and that Disc 1 of Season of SG1 was missing an episode. They sent me a copy of both discs. So now I have a complete set. I am changing my rating from a 1 to a 5. Very happy with purchase. ------------------ ORIGINAL REVIEW ------------------------- This set is a waste of money. The first disc doesn't work as expected it is missing the second episode of the series (The Enemy Within). I had trouble playing the second disc of the third season as well. I love SG1 and wanted this for my collection. I bought a few different set of tv shows from Amazon over the Christmas holiday. I bought Xena and Charmed which are both in excellent condition. I am just now getting to Stargate SG1 and it is TRASH. This set was expensive. Of course I am out of the return window. ------------------- Charmed has an error on one of the discs for two episodes.

Bought these as a gift for my mom and she loved them!

This is a great collection of the three Stargate series. The discs are well packaged, especially considering how many there are. They are in "booklets" of thin, double sided sleeves, and the "booklets" are snuggly kept inside a big compartment of the outer plastic shell. The three shells fit in a cardboard case. The discs themselves are high quality and I haven't had a single problem with them. The Blu Ray mastering is crisp and clear. I had all three seasons on DVD and I'm glad I upgraded to high definition. However, while you get all three series, be aware that you will not get the original Stargate movie, or the two post-series movies, or the "Origins" miniseries and movie.

This collection of disks is marked region a for USA only, but they all played on my pc or xbox with no problem I have not watched all the episode but I have tried all the discs and they load up with no problems. They only thing I had trouble with is the pouches the disks came in you have to slide them out without getting finger prints on bottom of disk. Picture quality is great after watching them on dvd for ages I would recommend this set.
