Would Buy again, Based on price, Based on Quality, Based on comfort
I'd say start off in your purchasing thoughts with what do you need a chair for, This is not a chair for you to stand on, many dumb people will stand on chairs that are not meant to be stood on. Mesh office chairs are not made to be stood on. However Gaming or a general office chair, even at some kind of work station, this is the best choice. Both comfort and affordability. Why? Well Mesh seating prevents sores its easier on your skin and you WON'T OVERHEAT especially if you are sitting for long hours. Non Mesh seating and backing, can easily cause you to overheat and be uncomfortable. I have never had soooo much comfort in a chair in all the chairs i've owned over the years. I would definitely purchase this again, Just because of that level of comfort. Gaming chairs sometimes can make you overheat or feel hot, depending on the kind of chair. Pros and Cons. So, Only con I had gradually was the bolts, I am a person who puts their feet up sometimes on a high rest this kind of body positioning if your getting out of your chair constantly and leaning back with a lot of weight, may over the years, i believe weaken the 3 bolts holding the back to the seat part, The bolts lasted years though, Support was contacted, when only a single bolt of them broke. But for the most part unless your very fat or a large human being, meaning 200 + lbs. Well you should be fine, unless your doing acrobats in your chair. My weight fluctuates but I am 160-190 lbs. So if your within this range or lower its a great chair. Other Con is not related to the chair but human beings being dumb, a chair that has say 4 legs, that has the front and back of the arm often can support your body weight when readjusting, chairs like this one are NOT CONNECTED in this manner a friend shifted his weight once and almost damaged the arm, PEOPLE ARE NOT COMPREHENDING THAT THE ARMS OF MANY CHAIRS even some regular chairs are NOT made to support your full body weight if your shifting your weight its better on most chairs to use the seat part which is made to support your body weight to readjust. (hands on the edges of the seat) Me personally I can readjust with the arms and do but i am not putting my whole or even remotely close to my body weight on the arms. So 1. Don't be dumb if your going to buy this and break the arms, that ought to be common sense for most people, 2. DO NOT STAND ON A MESH CHAIR and damage, it. If your excessively obese, or 200+ lbs, you might want an extra pair of bolts after soo many years but I've had a friend who bought one of these chairs as my recommendation and the only reason he broke it was overweight and horsing around. My usage - infront of a desk at a computer, and often times i'll have my feet up while using my cintiq which is held off the desk over me by an ergotron arm, and i lean back feet up, and the arm rest is perfect for lazily using my stylus comfortably. Arm rest is just the right height for the arm with the stylus and against the monitor, will generally put the left arm up and use a wireless keyboard in my lap. Worth the money have had the chair like 4 years or so? No complaints, Seat and back support is very comfortable And for the price duration and stability, I could not have gotten a better deal from anyone else. Most mesh chairs that i've come across are incredible cheap quality and not soo durable or comfortable. and too pricey.

Still Solid After 9.5+ Years
I bought this chair in January 2017, so going on 9.5 years of somewhere between occasional-frequent use. It has held up and been comfortable for the entire lifespan so far, including full-time WFH use during covid. The mesh on the seat/back is still tear-free, and the armrests are still in good condition minus the glue coming loose on one of them (a minor inconvenience, but still exceeds my expectations after all this time). I can't speak to any manufacturing changes since I bought it, but I would highly recommend this as a top tier budget pick based on the one I have. A couple points I would want to know about before buying: The armrests do fold up/down, but you can't adjust their height on the chair vertically. You may get a squeak in the seat spinning after a long time of ownership, but a simple spray of WD40 or similar will fix it quickly - I've only had to do this 3-4 times over almost a decade.

Great desk chair for office or for students.
This desk chair was easy to assemble and is very comfortable to sit in. It provides excellent back support, and the adjustable features make it easy to find the perfect seating position. We also love the mesh material because it’s breathable, which makes it more comfortable for extended use. The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that the package arrived damaged. Fortunately, the chair itself was well-protected, and all the parts were intact with no damage. Overall, it’s a great chair, and I’m happy with the purchase.

I love this chair
Bought this chair for my home office 3 years ago. Best chair I've ever owned. I love how the arms swivel up and down from the sides of the chair back which moves them out of the way completely, either when I want to bend down to pick something up from the floor or when I want to quickly reach out from the chair to grab something I need. I originally bought this chair 3 years ago. The pneumatic pump cylinder began to fail at just under 3 years with my 250 lbs using it all day every day. The pump was warranted for 5 years so I called for a replacement pump which arrived promptly inside a week. I didn't want to be without this chair for a week so I decided to purchase a brand new 2nd chair for everyday use and use the original chair for the desk in my bedroom. I was totally ecstatic to see the same exact chair was available after 3 years, and didn't want to pass this opportunity by, especially at such a great price.

Solid mesh chair with good support - honest review - 1 year update
UPDATE 1 YEAR LATER** still an amazing chair for the price. going strong without any wear or tear. I use it daily. it did get a little squeaky at one point but I was able to fix that with some wd40. i feel bad for people who spend so much money on fancy mesh chairs when this one is really nice and for a reasonable price. --- initial review: If you are someone who is skeptical of Amazon reviews then read this review. I was pretty skeptical to buy this because I've definitely bought 4-5 star products and been disappointed. However, this wasn't the case on this product. I will update this as time progresses. First impressions out of the box: good quality, looks built to last, and easy to assemble. Also looks nice (not why I bought it). If you have ever sat in a conference room with a fancy mesh chair and thought "hey this chair is pretty comfy and gives me some good support" then you'll feel the same here. I was hesitant to get the amazon-basic mesh chair because I have friends who said it isn't very comfortable so I decided to double down and buy this chair. On day 1 I'm very satisfied I bought it. It provides me with the exact support I was looking for at a reasonable price (I bought it like-new for around $125). The armrests are at a perfect height for me and the backrest cradles my shoulders well (5'6" 170lbs). As long as the mesh holds up I'll be happy. The only con I have so far: it makes a decently bothersome noise when rapidly going to a lean back position and then returning to upright position.

This chair almost left me a bloody Valentine!
Let me start by saying, I am currently writing this review on Valentines Day, hence the title of the review. Now with that out of the way, on to the review. I had this chair for about two weeks. I was very happy with it. I found it easy to put together, comfortable and provided much better back support than my previous chair. Everything was going great until tonight. I had just returned from getting a drink of water at the office and I sat back in my chair. As soon as I sat, the room went sideways, and I thought one of two things. Either my vertigo had returned, or the chair had somehow slipped out from under me, dumping me on to the floor. As I got myself together and looked down, I saw that the back of the chair completely snapped off the base (see pics). If you look on the pics, there are brass posts. These brass posts used to be fitted inside the holes of the back of the chair. This is where the chair base, and back bolt together. I guess when I sat down and leaned back into my seat, the brass posts snapped out of their holes and tore through the base. I am okay, and Amazon Customer Service was excellent in issuing a refund and return slip. The rep also was very concerned about my wellness. Nonetheless, I would only recommend the purchase of this chair to my worst enemies, or to someone who loves to flirt with danger. Do not buy!

OUTSTANDING customer service!
I purchased this chair in October 2022 and loved it. Earlier this year (2024) the gas strut failed so the seat began to lower on its own. I contacted the manufacturer (in California) and they quickly sent a replacement strut under warranty. I got the part but could not extract the old strut from the seat bracket so I ended up destroying the seat bracket. I contacted the mfg again and they sent a new bracket out under warranty. Stuff fails over time but when you have THAT kind of customer service it makes ALL the difference!

Lets be real, you're not getting a Chinese knockoff Aeron out of this chair
After 2 years of use I have a few Pro's and Con's. I am 6' 220lb and I use my chair for work during the day and Gaming at night so I can be in the chair 16 hours a day sometimes. Sounds kind of excessive in black and white, but that's the truth. Pros: 1) Looks Nice. dual mesh reminds me of the Aeron those cheaper looking. 2) Affordably priced. Poor man's Aeron is how I saw it. 2) Out of the box decently supportive an comfortable. I never have had back issues. Cons: 1) The chair's seat pan mesh has started to stretch. I was worried about the mesh stretching as it supports my 220lbs for 8-16 hours a day. After 2 years it's noticeable to me it's not as tight as when I bought it and I'm sitting lower. The front lip (cushioned) then starts to have more pressure on the back of my thighs. The mesh seat even after a short period can start hurting if wearing thin clothing like pajamas. With thicker pants/shorts it's not as an issue. Ive never tried it naked (for those of you that do that), but I would assume it would hurt even worse. That is the biggest complaint I have because having pain while sitting is unacceptable. 2) The Chair squeaks horribly now and I have to be careful not to move too much when talking to clients and co-workers on a Webex. It also is driving me crazy. I'm going to try some lubrication and see if that helps but I've never had a chair squeak this loudly before. 3) The decorative trim on the base snapped off one leg. That's more my fault, but they aren't attached that tightly either. If you're 200lbs and looking for a reasonable 2 year sitter this maybe the chair for you. But, you should be ready to replace once it wears down. I have replaced it with a Steelcase Leap V2. This now has become my daughter's computer chair.

Good Comfy Chair
It is straightforward to assemble and the package contains all the tools you need to assemble it. Only one part of its instruction confused me which is the the bellow parts...I am still not sure whether I got that part right. It is not a big deal. Well, it looks like to me that it is super easy to disassemble too. This could be both a pro and a con. (Imagine you lift it up and the base fall off..A horror memory from my childhood) There's nothing reinforces the connection of pneumatic cylinder and the base, it is just a very very light click and you can pull it off easily. Anyway, the base does not fall off when I lift it.
