Superb Product But Returns/Exchanges are APITA
I have 2 pair that I've worn on hundreds of rides since 2016 and both are still in excellent condition. No seam loss. No fade. All zippers functional. No rips or tears despite more crashes than I'd like. They are tough. They have elastic in the waist, AND an abundance of belt loops, which I really like. 17" inseam. I love these shorts and have worn no other for 7 years.BUT, returns/exchanges are a real pain as they don't use the Amazon system. The current price is double what I paid in 2016, still a good value, but you'll pay much more if you need to return.Their sizing system is askew. Heed: "NOTE: Sizes tend to run big". Recently I ordered the wrong size and speak from unfortunate experience. Not sure why they can't fix their size chart?

These are great
Zipper closing back and side pockets (recommend packing soft items on the inside of side to prevent chafing). Stretchy, with belt loops for a belt to hang things on. Drys quickly, breathes well, doesn't get shredded when sitting on sharp rocks. Zipperless front pockets deep enough to securely hold a phone while riding. For some reason there are pull cords around the legs that are not needed, and will cause chafing. I removed them by cutting the cord.

Roomy! Stretchy! Full of Pockets!
----The TL;DR Version:----4.6/5; Highly Recommended for Bike Commuters, Randonneurs, and Bike TouristsFit: 4Length: 5 (corrected!)Rise: 4Construction: 5Fabric: 5POCKETS!!!!!: 5Pros:PocketsGreat for LayeringSuper Stretchy!Cons:Not so sure about those togglesCould stand to be just a tad (ie, 5cm/2") longerNot Yet Assessed:Performance in Cold/Windy ConditionsPerformance on Rides >24k/15miWashability/Dry TimeNeutral:Sizing is definitely "American civilian sizing," rather than "roadie sizing," so keep that in mind when you order.----The TL;RA (Too Long, Read Anyway) Version----I like the design of these capris -- the array of zipped and slash pockets is excellent. The fabric is unique and very stretchy. I wasn't sure when I first felt it; the hand is kind of strange -- but then I put the capris on, and it was revelatory. Soft, stretchy, forgiving -- I really kind of love it. I have yet to assess its capabilities in chilly weather or on long rides, though, so I'll check back in about that. The waistband is not excessively aggressive, and the included belt is handy and adjustable.Construction appears to be excellent, consistent with AeroTech's generally stellar products.Length is pretty good -- I stand 172cm/5'8" with a 80cm/31.5" inseam and rather long thighs, and these hit right below the patella. I initially misjudged them; I seem to have been wearing them rucked up somehow so they were hitting higher than they really do. Oops! The rise is a bit long on my body (though not so long as to be uncomfortable -- the waistband sits just below my navel), but I'm quite short-coupled, so on most people around my height or a bit taller it would probably be about perfect. People much shorter than I am might find it rather too high.My husband stands 175cm/5'9", and his femurs are a full 5cm/2" shorter than mine, while his torso is quite a bit longer. These ratio of rise to length on these capris would be perfect for him.I'm not as fond of the toggle-adjusted elastic cuffs. I knew I probably wouldn't be terribly fond of them, though, so that's nothing to complain about, really. Moreover, any fastening system, whether velcro, toggle, or snap, would have potential drawbacks, but it's definitely good to have some way to crank these down and keep the wind out.Fit-wise, these capris are quite roomy by cycling standards. In the medium size, these capris are very, very roomy on me. If you're basing your sizing decisions on typical bike kit (iP, Castelli, ChampSys, etc.) sizes, you might want to order one size *smaller* than you normally would. These are definitely sized more like "civilian" clothes. My only concern here is that roomier fit can sometimes mean potential for chafing on longer rides (on the other hand, on longer rides, one would be likely to wear, at very least, some liner shorts with a good chamois under these). For comparison, my relevant measurements are as follows:weight - 68 kg/150 lbs/10 stone 10waist - 71cm/29"fullest part of hip - 91cm/36" (thanks to the weird, overdeveloped gluteus medius typical of male ballet dancers)fullest part of thigh - 54.6cm/21.6"I usually take a medium in "race-cut" bike kit; in "club-cut" kit, I'm probably a small now (though all of my club-cut kit is medium, anyway, for layering purposes). I am pretty sure I could have ordered these capris in a small and been very comfortable; in fact, I probably will eventually order a small and give the mediums to my hubby. These will be great for cold-weather layering and for tossing on top of my ballet class kit on the way to and from -- and I really couldn't possibly be happier with the sheer array of pockets. I except to get quite a lot of use out of these.I will, of course, update with further information about durability, wind- and cold-resistance, and on-bike fit on longer rides.

Best pants EVER.
I bought these pants four months ago and have basically been living in them ever since. I have a very minimal wardrobe because I travel full-time, and I need all of my clothes to be multi-functional, stain-resistant, and quick drying. They don't absorb sweaty bus or plane or bicycling smells no matter how long I wear them between washes. The 3/4 length is comfortably cool on hot days, warm enough on cool days, and useful in situations where shorts are not appropriate. These pants tick all the boxes and look amazing on. The zippered side and back pockets are perfect for carrying cash, ID, and important documents securely- I definitely think I would notice someone attempting to open the zipper to pickpocket me.I love these pants enough to buy a second pair, but they stay so fresh-looking and dry so quickly that I haven't actually needed to. I will definitely replace them with the same once I wear these to shreds.

Decent at $40, not so much at $60
At $40 these may be a deal but at $60 they are missing the mark. I wear almost only 3/4 shorts and have tried countless different brands here are my findings:Pros:1. Lightweight2. Drys Quick3. Belt Loops4. Lots of PocketsCons:1. Weak Pockets (you will lose things, hope they are not valuable and you are not remote when it happens)2. Weak Crotch (NOT CYCLING SAFE)3. Varying cost...Let me be clear, when I say 'Kinday Scamy' at $60 what i'm actually saying is this.... when traveling in Asia you find tons of 'North Face' and 'Patagonia' jackets, pants, shorts etc. all available from street vendors for bargain basement pricing and when you get home, if your lucky enough to have gotten the size right you will notice the stitching, seems, materials and general craftsmanship to be nowhere near the original name you were buying, cause its a knockoff.. These feel a lot like the knockoffs I used to buy from street vendors, it has all the right things but just not done well enough to make it worthwhile. If you can afford $80-100 Checkout Zoic or Endura and save yourself the stitching and excuses post purchase, ive gone several seasons on those brands before material started to disintegrate. That being said if your light on your gear and tight on budget pick them up, they did last me 4 months of once weekly wear/ride.
