EU Fabrics - FIRE Retardant Upholstery Base Lining Fabric COROVIN 70g Beds Sofas Headboards – Spunbond Cloth - Breathable – Automotive – Medical (White - 5 Meter X 147CM)

I intended to use this to cover a ceramic fibre insulating blanket for the top of my Aga, but though "Fire resistant" it melted above the boiling plate lid. The material might be fine for fire resistant furniture, but didn't work for me. I should be more careful about material specifications!

This Fire-Retardant Fabric is highly flammable. You can see in the photo. If the Fire-Retardant Fabric seller sent catches fire, it will burn until it is extinguished, but the linen fabric. will extinguish after two seconds.

Yo creía que al ser "ignífuga" en ningún caso ardería. No fue así en la prueba que hice, antes de instalar la tela en el lugar pensado. No obstante, espero que en caso necesario no salga ardiendo.

Tela; perfecta! Pero el vendedor está en el Reino Unido, lo que no es (tan) evidente antes de pedir. Al precio por metro se añadió una cantidad en concepto de "impuestos" (IVA, supongo), pero tuve que pagar más que el precio de la tela en impuestos de importación y gastos de aduana para poder recibirla.
