Cold-Weather Winner for Senior Golfers
I bought this ball specifically for winter play in the Washington, DC area. As a senior golfer, I continue to play even when temperatures drop below freezing. I’ve used Titleist Pro V1 for many years and feel very comfortable with it, especially around the greens. The Bridgestone Lady seems to match my swing speed (around 75 mph) quite well. It feels soft off the clubface, flies straight, and actually gives me a bit more distance compared to the Pro V1 or Chrome Soft in cold conditions. That said, I’m still adjusting to it on approach shots and around the green, where my distance control isn’t quite as dialed in as it is with the Pro V1. Overall, it performs well for me in cold weather. I just wish they had kept the name “Laddie” — and I’d definitely like to see a yellow version offered.

These are simply the best golf balls for an older person with a slower swing speed and the price is lower than other competitive golf balls.
