Awesome for my zoom 8.

This is a very soft 'hard' case that is large enough to fit a zoom h8, but the zoom will barely be held in place and will rattle around the case which is far from ideal for a piece of equipment like that.

It fits the unit perfectly because it's too big, doesn't seem super cosy and safe with that one elastic band but at the end of the day it does the job if you fill the other side with cables etc, check the video.

Recently picked up a Zoom H8 Recorder and immediately realised I had nothing to safely store it in for transport. Bought this case as it had prime delivery and I needed it quickly however I will need to find a replacement already case as although it does fit the device inside, there is far too much movement when placed within which I fear may lead to damage especially to the onboard microphone, XLR releases switches and the internal components. Seeing as this was the only somewhat acceptable case I found on Amazon I will also point out some positives, the exterior of the case is built somewhat well with a handle at the back and a reasonably sturdy feel, it does also feature a pocket where you may keep small cables or in-ear headphones or extra batteries/SD cards which is helpful. But this does not make up for the issues previously stated. A suitable fix if you absolutely need a case and you choose this one would be to also order packing foam which you can cut to size and use to pad the interior and also potentially removing the strap if you feel it necessary. I hope you have found this review thorough and helpful.

There is a huge space left inside for H8. It starts to moving around during transportation.

Met all my requirements for transportation of my Zoom H8 device with extra storage. Worthwhile investing in.

This came as ordered and is just what’s needed to keep my Zoom 8 from getting battered in a bag. It’s a little smaller than the carry case, but some packing foam has sorted out any issues with the Zoom rattling around. For the money, this is a perfect size and fit.

Yes, the quality of the case is good. No, the case does not hold the Zoom H8 safely in place. See my photo to see how I had to insert pieces of foam into the corners so it does not move during transportation.
