3D Printing & Curious? Just buy it!
Bought this out of necessity for my 3D printed sponge holder that develops mold. I was inexperienced and weary of Epoxy Resin but it's blown my expectations and I now see it as a must-have for anyone in the 3D printing hobby.2-3 layers is all you need to make layer lines virtually vanish and leave a shiny, extremely smooth finish that looks and feels grand. 3D prints typically take a very small amount of Resin making this very cheap, I suggest getting glue applicator syringes to measure out these small amounts. You have about ~30 minutes to work with the Resin after mixing. Drips are easy to catch, and are easily avoided when spread uniformly as the consistency is slightly thicker than paint. A small adjustable butane torch is ideal for removing small air bubbles in the Resin immediately after coating.

Works well for 3D prints!
Very easy to use and makes a great product. Sets up just like the instructions say. Using a gloved hand(s) to spread the material after applying to the surface with a tongue depressor seemed to work well. I propped my 3D prints up on toothpicks taped flat to a piece of cardboard and slid that into a cardboard box once covered in resin. It will tend to drip over at the slides, so having the toothpicks set away from the edge would be a good idea. Wipe away excess from the edge before it dries completely. Then repeat on the other side if needed.

Great product
Easy to use, works well and no smell. I knocked off a star because it is so expensive. First time I purchased item it was on sale, but not any longer. I'd like to buy again, but getting tired of how expensive art supplies are becoming.

Good Nontoxic Resin
The resin was pretty easy to use for beginners, however I am using it for keychains and deeper things, so I’m not a pro at not having bubbles yet. I also can’t seem to get glitter to not float to the bottom of my pieces, but that’s a me problem, not the product. It’s fairly easy to use and my favorite part is that it’s nontoxic. I still wear protective gear and have a well ventilated area to be safe though. The smell is a little strong, but I’m just sensitive to smells. It’s definitely not a good value for your money though. The bottles are extremely small for how expensive they are. I’ve used the resin a few times to make some keychains and I’m almost empty already. I wish there was more instructions on the best way to get 1v1 pouring though for the mixture. Overall, I really like the resin. It’s fun to play around with, but it is bubbly even with tricks like that warming it up in a hot cup, letting it sit, stirring 3+ minutes slowly, and using a lighter. Still couldn’t pop all the bubbles in the bottom and middle of the keychains. I will be purchasing again unless I can find a cheaper non toxic resin made for thicker projects.

Would buy again
I bought this resin to test before investing in bigger kits (I own an Etsy -WaterLillyArts- ;). ) and I mean it when I say “OFF TO BLICK!” I’m definitely getting a gallon kit of this resin. My only con is sometimes it can be a little too viscous for bubbles to rise and pop so be very vigilant about that but otherwise it fully sets in about 3 days, works well with glitter and ink pigments and is thick enough that when you do use glitter it doesn’t sink to the bottom right away. (Video to show finished product with the resin) I understand why it is expensive but if you are a beginner I would definitely recommend this as it is 100% worth the price

Follow directions to the letter!
Very happy with results, used mine to coat small pieces of painted glass jewelry. Dries hard and clear, looks so nice, like glass. Keep in mind the longer it sits, the harder it gets. Needs much longer than 72 hours. I let mine sit for 2 weeks. Worth the wait, in my personal opinion. I scratched the surface with my finger nail, just to test it, it did leave a little mark but it disappeared after I rubbed it with my thumb! Interesting. Do your homework, watch the videos on YouTube, follow directions to the letter. You will definitely need a small mini torch, a quick pass or two of the torch over the surface and the bubbles disappear.

Good product
This is the first time I've used Art Resin. In the past I've used Ice Resin and a brand that I picked up at Michaels. Both of those seemed to intuitively know how to spread out and dome effectively. In working with Art Resin, I found it needed to be coaxed to move to the sides and corners. That in itself is good because it does give you more time to work with the product without it racing ahead of you. Within 24 hours I had a nice hard coat, (although I always wait 72 hours for a full cure). I made a horrible gooey mess of one of the projects and I tried to clean it up...which of course made it much worse. In the future, I'll wait until after it cures to try to fix because Art Resin cleans up nicely and is easy to fix any mistakes. I used this product for a small wood project (about 3" x 9") and some bezel jewelry. I'll order again.
