I had been dealing with acid reflux, bloating, and heartburn and was nervous to take this product since I heard antibiotics cause more gas (they do). I decided to try it and felt terrible, absolutely terrible for several hours. My stomach and chest felt like they were on fire. Then, all of a sudden a few hours later, my severe heartburn completely WENT AWAY. I didn't need to take my medication to sleep and slept through the night. It was magical. This is what is known as a Herxheimer reaction, also known as feeling worse before you feel better. The pandemic has really taken a toll on my eating habits and I have been in a lot of indigestion pain and have been struggling with GERD. Within two nights of taking this, I noticed a tremendous difference in my GERD and my bloating. I’m finally able to sleep through the night without handfuls of antacids. I will say I’m a 28 yr old women in decent shape and every body is different but it has worked wonders for me. I started taking this one week ago. I've been feeling tired and sluggish-totally forgetting about Herxheimer reactions. But for the last 3 nights, I've taken a puff of my Dreamt sleep pen and have fallen asleep within half an hour and stayed asleep almost the entire night. This morning, I actually started waking up during my first alarm (an average morning can be 3-5 alarms before I can get up) and made it in early to work, which never happens on a Thursday. I'm usually so tired that I'm on the verge of being late and dragging myself in. I feel more alert and I'm able to focus. I am also tolerating food better. Maybe these could even help me reverse the weird food intolerances I've developed over the last 2 years and the bloating and unexplained weight gain. I know my gut has been very messed up, so I'm averaging 2-4/day. Generally 2 in the morning and 2 after dinner/before bed. The changes have been subtle, but this is the only adjustment I've made to my regimen in the last week. I'm definitely going to continue with these and update after I've had more time with them. But I'm liking them so far and am very happy with the results. I think the key with these is to be consistent. If your system is as sluggish and messed up as mine, these aren't going to fix things overnight. You really have to give it 3-6 months to see if they'll be effective. So that's what I plan on doing.

I tried this product, mainly in an effort to create a healthy gut and increase my metabolism in an effort to lose weight. It has worked! I have taken the probiotic supplement, increased my water intake, added extra fiber to my diet and included intermitant fasting in conjunction with eating healthy, clean foods. I can tell a HUGE difference. I lost 4 pounds in two weeks (4 days of that time cheating on vacation). My sugar cravings almost fully dissappeared. I feel full and satisfied after meals, and rarely need a snack. My digestive system is running much more smoothly. Previously, when I have tried to reign in my sugar cravings and try to lose weight, I was always hungry, thought constantly about food, and generally had a miserable time. THIS time, I think of food only when I start to get hungry, and I get hungry much less often. I don't crave sugar nearly as often, and when I do I only need a few bites to feel satisfied. This is a game changer for me!

Very powerful probiotic. I've tried a few other brands before and didn't think it had any effect but I truly felt a physiological and mood change with this brand. Their customer service is also admirable. This is definitely a quality product that is effective but way too expensive for sustained use, imo. One star off for the price.

I took my time with this review to verify what I experienced was really a result of these probiotics. A friend told me they had an easier time doing intermittent fasting when they took Silver Fern probiotics and sent me a video that explained how the proper bacteria in your gut can reduce sugar cravings. I bought a bottle and gave it a try. My sugar cravings decreased and I went from a 16/8 fast to 22/2 fasting without any more difficulty. This alone made the product a winner for me, as I lost 15 lbs in a month. I wasn't paying attention and ran out before I ordered a new bottle so I ended up grabbing a bottle of probiotics at a big box store. Around 2 weeks later I noticed my sugar cravings were back and I was struggling to fast. What surprised me was that I realized my mild depression was back. It was a mellow change when it decreased so I hadn't even realized it was gone while I was using the Silver Fern Probiotics. Since the brand of probiotics was the only change I had made I decided to experiment and ordered another bottle. Within a week of using the Silver Fern probiotics my sugar cravings had decreased and my mild depression was again gone. To verify I finished the bottle and went back to the other brand. It's been about two weeks and my mild depressions is back. I'm lucky that it's not bad, but it makes eating healthy and exercising harder. I'm going back to this product since it works so much better than what I got locally. I've done some research and there are actually doctors prescribing probiotics in place of antidepressants for mild depression. I wasn't even thinking about depression when I took this, but I'm pleased with the surprise bonus.

While the probiotic strains are top notch, the additional rice fibers (NU-MAG, NU-FLOW) in this probiotic ended up being a nightmare for my body. Before I purchased, I saw two other reviewers mentioned brain fog, and I wish I relied on their reviews to not make this purchase in the first place. I went ahead and started taking it. The first day, I had the worst headache of my life, so I immediately threw it back into my drawer. A couple months later, I gave it one more try. To my surprise, I didn’t get a headache the first day, but responded differently with constant sneezing and runny nose. By day three, the allergies went away, but I slowly started developing a slight headache. I tried to ignore it, because I was going through some personal stress, and thought it was that. By week two, I got more delirious and for someone who never gets headaches, I was in excruciating pain. I stopped the supplement. Even after stopping, it built up even more, and I developed a migraine and auras and vision changes. It was terrifying. Unlike food, a probiotic lasts in your gut for several weeks. I brought these probiotics to my naturopath, who was able to confirm it contained GMO fibers. I cried because I simply wanted something to strengthen my gut. This product destroyed my life this past month, and while the headaches have pulled back due to daily excedrins, I still have a lingering headache and anxiety it will remain in my gut flora for a longer time. Please, please, please approach this probiotic carefully. Generally, it looks like most people can tolerate this, but there are chemically modified fibers in this. When comparing this product to their product on their website, NU-FLOW and NU-MAG are not listed. Where is the transparency and consistency in your products?! For that reason, I would never wish this product on anyone.

It is a different kind of bacterias and a different kind of activation process which work best especially with candida constipation gerd overweight neurological prblms immune deficiency the list go on it worth to try and it is valuable if someone wants to be healthier and fit. I recommend that though everybody is different so it is not up to me to primis that would work equally to everyone... but it is safe for my kid and me.
