Amazon Basics Soft Grip Retractable Box Cutter with 3 Replaceable Blades, Black/Silver

Bought this for all the Amazon boxes I get haha! Having arthritis in my hands kinda means I can’t rip up boxes like I once could. So back to this Stanley knife , well it’s very comfortable to hold by the nice soft grippy bit on the shaft, the quality is of it is rather good !! The blades fit into a little compartment at the back end of the knife and they are very sharp ! So easy to open for the spare blades too , has this little tab that says “press down”. And last but not least , which is my favourite part is the blade retracts by using the slider on the top.A good little piece of kit for my tool bag ! Oh and the price was actually cheaper than a bag of chips haha !!

Exceeded my expectations considering the price point. This is a bargain in my honest opinion.I initially bought these to cut up carpet into smaller pieces as I was moving homes. Perfect for my needs and 1 blade was enough to cut up the entire carpet in a 1 bed flat.Since then, these have come in handy for other unusual jobs, for example: whilst cleaning my computer, I accidentally bent my CPU pins and I used the blade of this cutter to bend them back into place as its the perfect thickness.I would recommend this item.

Not a bad Stanley-style knife - although some of the rubber trim is already peeling off after only a few uses. The blade is sometimes a little stiff when trying to retract. Based on price alone, this is good value for money, does what I needed - but I suspect durability will be an issue. Still, you get what you pay for, and I just needed cheap and cheerful.

Very good and nice grip

It's a box cutter and it works, it's definitely not the sharpest blade and the body is a bit flimsy so can easily come apart. I also had a bit of a challenge getting the blade to consistently retract which is a safety issue. The spare blade is good but it's kept inside the body so again it's pretty fiddly to rebuild the cutter again after changing the blade.

Great value for money, handy and sturdy.

I know it's inexpensive but the quality is abysmal the blade sticks coming out and going in then when you inevitably have to change the blade you have to spend 15 minutes messing around trying to get the thing back together again do yourself a favor and spend a little more get a better knife
