If you are thinking of buying this, but are apprehensive due to the price, it is worth it. Rarely do I find something that impresses me with quality and design. It makes perfectly poached eggs with minimal effort and clean up. The pan is not cheaply made and I was impressed with the high quality stainless steel and heavy glass lid. Thank-you for restoring my faith that things can still be made well Very deserving of a 5 star rating!

It’s great, I use it often. The little knobs on the cups make it easier to use. 2 eggs was the right size for me.

I have two of these, one 4 egg and one two egg. I do like these, or I wouldn’t have bought two of them. They have been upgraded some in the last year like new glass top knob, and I think the handle on the pan also not sure what else they upgraded the rest looks the same to me. They work great and I use them mostly for simple pouched eggs or eggs Benedict. POSITIVES are the work great, the pan is thick and heavy weight, the cups nonstick hasn’t pealed, handles and knobs are nice ,the pan doesn’t corrode, decent quality but not top end quality. They sell a lot of these and obviously care to some extent about their quality and product or they wouldn’t have upgraded them. Pretty easy to clean but most people want very easy to clean. It only takes a few minutes to clean in the sink. AND DO NOT PUT THESE IN DISHWASHER IF YOU WANT THE NONSTICK TO LAST LONGER AND DEFINITELY DO NOT PUT THE MIDDLE SECTION THAT HOLDS THE CUPS IN THE DISHWASHER OR THEY WILL CORRODE, NOT MITE BUT WILL CORRODE. That middle section looks like 304 stainless but it’s not, I believe it is a lower quality stainless steel and there are multiple different stainless steels out there. I think it’s a different steel from the pan also. The pan is not a good quality of stainless steel but it’s ok and it doesn’t rust. The middle section will. So hand wash these and dry off the middle section as soon after you wash it. DO NOT PUT THE PARTS IN THE SINK AND WASH THEM AT A LATER TIME LIKE LATER THAT EVENING OR ESPECIALLY THE NEXT DAY THE MIDDLE SECTION WILL GET CORROSION SPOTS ON IT I KNOW BECAUSE I DID THAT AND THE MIDDLE SECTION CORRODED, I was pissed. But I like them and nobody makes a better quality one right now these are the best on marketplace. NEGATIVES, not true stainless the pan gets discolored spots on it even after first use but it’s not corrosion , unlike high quality stainless pans like Cruisinart all clad and etcetera that use a high quality stainless steel. The middle section is obviously not a true stainless steel like 304 , it will corrode if left wet. This is the weak point of this product. It’s not the greatest nonstick out there you need to use Pam on the cups, no real complaints though I use Pam on nonstick anyway but they could use a little better nonstick though. The only real negative is the middle section that will corrode if left wet or put in dishwasher. I do like this product and use them every week. SO IF THE COMPANY IS LISTENING UPGRADE THE MIDDLE SECTION TO A BETTER QUALITY STAINLESS STEEL AND YOU DEFINITELY WILL HAVE THE BEST EGG POACHER ON AMAZON!!! By the way did I mention I really do like this product and I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM. So buy on and have a great breakfast and morning.

My mother started me out on a four cup egg cooker very similar to this one many moons ago, over time ,that cooker got lost. Like so many who have a love for poached eggs I've tried the traditional putting the eggs in the water with and without vinegar it's just not the same and you always get stickage no matter what you do. I've also tried various silicone cups and I am a fan of silicon utensils however, I tired of chasing the little floaty cups around the water burning my fingers trying to fish the eggs out. And even though it was silicon and even though I would grease that silicon I would still get stickage and residue. So when I got this pan the first thing to my mind was well it works but it's so much just to poach a couple of eggs. At that point I inserted my foot in my mouth. I had forgotten that pan's like this no matter how you slice it always make the best poached egg and the non-stick coating on this model delivers just like the manufacturer says you barely have to put any oil if any at all for that matter which I have done and you'll still get your eggs to slide out I use a little silicon spoon to help that along but it's still pretty effortless. I now have poached eggs every morning and the pan itself which is a very sturdy stainless steel I might add , when you're not using the poaching part is versatile as well. It is very useful in cooking other Foods besides just eggs. Clean up with this pan is also very effortless . As the saying goes if it ain't broke don't fix it! Very satisfied with this pan and I will make sure this time that it does not disappear Into Obscurity somewheres.

This makes making poached eggs so easy and they turn out perfectly every time. I have tried so many different eats to poach eggs and they sometimes work and other times they come out too hard or way too soft. With this little poacher, once you find your ideal firmness, they come out perfectly every time. Love this item.

This egg poacher worked great and it is going to last a long time because it is made of stainless steel. It was replacing a very old aluminum egg poacher that just simply wore out.

Great product. Boil water, spray inside cups and add eggs. Place egg cups in the holder and cover with lid. Turn heat down to medium and for 5 1/2 to 6 minutes depending on size of eggs. Perfect poached eggs! Easy cleanup. Do not put cups in dishwasher but all the rest is fine. The screw in the cup handle will loosen.

This is a very good quality product and is brilliant for cooking your poached eggs exactly how you like them.

This is a great Egg Poacher, sturdy and well made. The cups are a good size, I used X-large eggs and there was lots of room. Heed the instructions and only use a half inch of water, it will boil over and make a mess otherwise. Very happy and would buy again.

I love poached eggs, I mean absolutely adore them. This item has made my life so much better, because now I do not need to worry about bags, or rubber cups falling over. It really is a simple process of simmer, crack, add, cook, and serve. The recommendations to add a little oil to the cups is well warranted, and definitely something I recommend doing as well.

Been looking on Amazon for some time for a (2 egg) egg poacher but the ones available were not suitable for various reasons. A couple of days ago this item suddenly appeared and it was exactly what I was looking for. Ordered one immediately. It is very sturdy with large coated metal egg containers - more than ample for "large" supermarket eggs. Cooks the eggs to perfection. Could not be more pleased.
