2013 Chevy Cruze 1.8L Non-turbo- OBD code P0599 Thermostat Heater Control Circuit HIgh
Repair was just done this month, so can't comment on longevity yet, but I can tell you that the engine light and obd code has disappeared after re-scanning, and the car is running fine. We installed this thermostat housing and the GM Genuine Parts 25192905 Throttle Body Heater Inlet Pipe (also from Amazon). Note: after installation of the new part(s) and refilling the coolant, run the car & the heater in your car (no need to drive it), until the engine's fan comes on...most videos don't tell you this, but only after I did this procedure did the obd code & engine light disappear. This video on You Tube was a great help: "How to Change Thermostat Housing Chevrolet Cruze 2011-2015 / Chevrolet Sonic 2012-2018" by One Trick Technician. Good luck.

Works great!
I ordered this to replace the busted one on my Chevy Sonic LS 2013. The plastic is alright, I don't expect it to last forever, but it's doing real well so far. I replaced it a few months ago and car is working just fine. It fit in great with no leaks or cracks. And the price was great, I was not ready to drop $$$ on an all metal one at the moment. Would purchase again.

Great product!
I replaced this thermostat housing on my 2017 Chevrolet Sonic and it fit perfectly the first time with no leaks. I had purchased a metal housing some time back but I was never able to figure out why it leaked water from an aluminum pipe attached to it. The plastic housing looks and feels solid. I live in south Texas and the temperature is very hot during the Summer so I am confident this product will take the heat.

Decent replacement way cheaper than OEM
I liked it was close to OEM. I have just installed it but have not checked it out after. Another piece broke during remove. I would recommend getting a "fuel injection throttle body heater pipe inlet" with this thermostat housing. I tried to remove mine from the housing and just broke in two. Its not repairable so have to wait for part to be delivered before checking it out completely. I would also recommend the all aluminum housing over this one but it is higher priced.

Perfect fit
My thermostat went out, so purchased this for half the price that the auto stores wanted for it. After the old one was in, this fit in perfectly. I saw other ones online that were made of cast metal, but the original housing was plastic so I replaced it with this one. No issues, no leaks everything went in prefect without issue.
