Integrates with HiSense TV's
I already owned a HiSense 40E4KUK LED TV, great value at £183, but the sound quality is poor compared to same size Samsung LED TV. This soundbar resolves that issue. I had originally thought to use the optical connection from TV to soundbar, but I wasn't happy with the connection at the soundbar, it worked but didn't feel positive enough and my optical cable connector was just slightly too long with the soundbar wall mounted. A HDMI cable is supplied and this is by far the better connection. The HDMI port on the soundbar is angled so it will not foul on the wall and is a more positive connection in my opinion. I have wired both TV and soundbar into the same plug, so when switched on, both TV and soundbar are in standby mode. When using the remote to switch on the TV, the soundbar also switches on and after a minute the TV audio is directed to the soundbar - no need to change anything on the TV or soundbar. The TV remote turns the soundbar volume up and down, you use the soundbar remote to change the bass settings. Soundbar remote has buttons for 'Movie', 'Music' and 'News', plus a surround 'SURR', 'Dim-' and 'Dim+' and 'Source' buttons. I find I only use the TV remote. Soundbar supports Bluetooth also (not tried). I am very impressed with the sound quality, a great improvement over the HiSense TV audio and I think great value for money at £69. There are more expensive HiSense soundbars but this 2+1 unit is ideal for use on a secondary TV. Wall mounting was easy, fittings are provided, but no template though.

Reasonable Value For Money
For the reasonable cost this soundbar works OK with our Sky Glass Air TV and gives a noticeable improvement in sound quality over the built in TV speakers but does lack the finesse and sound quality of more expensive items. Very much a case of getting what you pay for. Good points - Easy to set up and looks attractive. 3 preset sound modes cover most requirements. Poor points - Bass levels quite low and adjustment not shown on screen so no idea what level set at, Flashing led lights coming on for no apparent reason.

Connect with the HDMI lead
I bought this soundbar to go with my Hisense 50 in TV as the sound from the TV was very poor. I connected it via the HDMI lead because with Bluetooth there was a little bit of lag between synchronising the lips with the voice. It connected very easily and I'm pleased with the sound.

Hisense. High quality. Sensible price.
Unlike most reviewers here... I paid full price for this! Bought it to match the new Hisense Roku TV that came out earlier this year. .... installed in my garage pub 😆 ... and to replace a smaller 26w bar I had in there previously. This is my third Hisense device, I have two of their 4K televisions. I find them remarkably comparable quality wise, to the so called big manufacturers. Some review sites wrongly describe their products as "low end".... that would merely describe the price difference. Hisense Support is based in Leeds, and I've contacted them 2 or 3 times with queries and received replies the day after. I don't understand the criticism others have made. Extremely easy to install with connections for HDMI (ARC), something you rarely find at this price, Optical In, Bluetooth, Aux & USB. Main TV sound I have thru HDMI (and Opt), so that covers the sound for Freeview, Fire Stick & Blu-ray, and an Amazon Echo via Aux (so I can play music and have TV on at the same time if I so wish). Bluetooth will no doubt come in handy too. Linked immediately to the Hisense TV, so the TV remote now can control soundbar volume etc .... as does the 4K Fire Stick remote if the Fire Stick linked to "TV" as opposed to "Soundbar" (as the Fire Stick doesn't find the IR code for it as yet.... I checked with Hisense Support). I noticed a huge difference in sound, particularly the bass, when wall mounted. I used angle brackets instead of the supplied screws to essentially isolate it from a surface and the wall. This gives the woofer more air and avoids vibration. Otherwise the woofer is too close to the surface you place the unit on, as it's on the bottom of the unit, with minimal space provided by the thin rubber feet. I may have considered returning it until I did this. Sound quality is actually very good when installed properly this way. Played some Steely Dan, Led Zeppelin & Rush at first and all instruments were balanced well. Tho I have whacked up the extra bass setting to the max +5, as I prefer to amplify the bass. You'll never get the same boom you'd get from a separate subwoofer, but that would be difficult to install in my pub set up.... so thought a simpler bar more suitable. It is. I found it plenty loud enough too .... and I like loud rock music and movies etc.... plenty loud enough for when we have party guests in the pub. It's 54W + the 54W sub and has ports at both ends. I assume those who don't find it loud enough have the unit sat on a surface, blocking the bass and causing harsh vibration. I found the unit to feel solid, heavy and of good quality. The sticker doesn't bother me either as it's now hidden under the TV. I'm very happy with the soundbar for £90, considering the overall quality and connections provided. You would probably have to pay double that to get similar. Mine was delivered next day too... straight after my order, I then noticed delivery was weeks and weeks.

NOT good for a PC
An excellent unit BUT it is extremely sensitive to the connections from a PC. The Hisense HS214 is designed primarily for TV HDMI-ARC use and is unusually strict about SPDIF optical timing and framing. My laptop + USB-C → SPDIF adapter outputs a valid digital audio (Windows confirms this and the red optical light proves it), but the HS214 rejects the stream because it doesn’t exactly match what it expects from a TV. This is a compatibility limitation of the HS214. Only AUX works reliably because it bypasses all digital decoding and feeds the amplifier directly. Similar signal compatibility problems were encountered with the USB and the Bluetooth connections. All-in-all, not a good unit for connection to a PC, despite what is advertised. Good sound quality on the AUX-AUX connection that I resorted to.

Amazing quality sound for a budget price
Bought this for my parents to pair with their LGB4 as their hearing isn't great. I wasn't expecting it to make much of a difference but they are amazed by this bar and say they can hear things much better. Especially the talking in TV shows and movies, it seems to boost that range just enough that it's made a massive difference to them. Very easy setup, I just plugged into their HDMI ARC port and it worked instantly, no setup required. TV remote can control the soundbar volume which is handy as they don't want to have to manage two remoted.

A very easy setup and fulfills the needs of my wife and I, Somewhat puzzled about how or why I received my delivery from the UK completel with a British power plug and a warranty which is the English version etc etc, plus the long wait for delivery when it now shows a few days? !.
